Great for a wedding weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable A frame home. The home was a quick drive to tanglewood and the views were beautiful. The owner was very communicative and prompt with answering any questions.

Great stay!

Our family had a wonderful time in Lenox and we loved staying here. The house was very comfortable and has stunning views. The house is very close to Tanglewood and the town center, but it also felt like we were staying in the woods. Our kids loved the nearby swimming and hiking. Anna and Simeon are great hosts. We would happily stay here again!

Nice House but lacks some fundamentals

No dressers or draws in any bedroom. No night tables in upstairs bedroom. No closets in upstairs bedroom. Closets in bedrooms that had closets contained dusty storage items making them almost unusable. Upstairs bedroom had glass doors which did not provide any privacy. Upstairs bedroom had only half curtains on outside windows and with glass doors and windows in sitting room, morning sun was not blocked at all. No hand towels. Upstairs bathroom had no towel hooks or towel bars to hang towels. No toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. Toilet paper was just sitting on top of toilet or vanity. No extra rolls of paper towels. Leaky kitchen faucet. Broken upstairs bathroom shower head. The dining table was in a heavily windowed area outside main living area. It had no air conditioning and felt like a sauna. We were forced to move it into the main area of the house which was air conditioned. Listing indicated there were two ensuite bathrooms, however there was only one. There were two keys but only 1 worked. Lamp in bedroom with twin beds was unstable. Mirror in ensuite bathroom was not hung on wall and needed to stoop to use it. Beds in bedroom with twin beds seemed to be narrower than regular twin bed, more cot size.

Hi Rita, Thank you so much for your feedback, we are new to VrBO and very much appreciate it. The Yes Yes house is a modern, bright and airy A-Frame with designer furniture and style and is not for everyone :) I do wish, however, that we could have spoken or connected since I tried to reach out to check in on you a few times to make sure I could answer any questions. In response to your detailed review: 1. There is HVAC in the house - mini splits which cool the house very nicely. There is a printed handbook in the kitchen that explains how to use them. It is important to allow air flow for the full house to be cooled, specifically in the sun room. 2. The upstairs section of the property (the mezzanine), is considered to be one room. Curtains are not needed for the glass doors, since it is all one room and the bathroom serves the mezzanine only and is a private bathroom. 
We do have curtains for the exterior windows. All shown as per the pictures. Indeed, this is a house for people that love light. 3. Twin beds are standard size, require twin bedding and are not ‘cots’. 4. Thank you for the feedback regarding towel rods and hooks, this is easily resolved and will be fixed asap. Mirrors not hanging is a design element but thanks for pointing that out. Thank you.

The property is in a beautiful location with a lovely view. It is very private and yet a very convenient 3 minute drive to the center of Lenox. While it is an older home the owners have updated it with color and whimsy. We enjoyed the wood burning stove(we brought our own wood). The home is light filled and comfortable. We appreciated the convenience of the provided linens and towels. One suggestion would be to clear some closet space for renters and perhaps add some dresser drawers. Also empty the refrigerator in between renters. Our family of five adults had plenty of space to gather and/or to have privacy when wanted. Anna was a very communicative and reasonable host and a pleasure to deal with.

What an absolute gem! We have been to the area before, mostly for skiing - but this place is special, very charming; the A-frame is pretty unique for the area (I think); that along with Julius Meindl coffee mugs and other details, such as the wrap around deck with a spectacular view of the neighbor’s pool was phenomenal. Interaction with the host was smooth, no issues there. Again, a special place in the Berkshires.
