Howe Island is located on the Bateau Channel - St.Lawrence River
Between Kingston and Gananoque, Ontario.

This spacious waterfront home is located on a private lane, comfortably sleeps 6 , with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

Check in was smooth and everything was ready for us. The kitchen was very well equipped and so well organized. It was such a lovely place. The washrooms were well equipped and spotless. So comfortable. It was great to be able to eat all of our meals outside and enjoy the beautiul view. The water was a perfect temperature for swimming and many hours were spent on the dock reading, enjoying the view and relaxing.

Howe Beautiful was just that!

Property owners were very friendly and responded to any questions we had prior to our trip right away. Great deep, clean waterfront. House was very clean with all amenities required and more. Our family had a wonderful week!

Relaxing waterside getaway

We love Howe Island, and Howe Beautiful was a perfect place for our week-long family getaway. Howe is quiet and residential, not really much to do but swim, read, drink a glass of wine, go out on the water, play lawn games, barbecue, etc. If this sounds like heaven to you (as it does for us) you can't ask for much better than this place. Multiple indoor and outdoor areas allow for as much together time or alone time as you like. The owner was friendly and helpful, he made us feel like welcome guests in his home. The only problem was that we had to leave! We would happily vacation here again.

Amazing!!!!

This property is amazing, the house had everything that you could possibly need. We used the kayaks, water noodles and bicycles. The water was deep, and really clean. Morris was extremely accommodating, and we will definitely be back.

Certainly Howe Beautiful!!

First time to the Thousand Islands but have to say that there is a certain charm and beauty to Howe Island. Beautiful, clean and spacious property with a spectacular deck/dock. It was a working type vacation so nothing better than to sit on the dock and watch the ferry and the scenery and gorgeous sunsets while doing a bit of work. Wifi connection was good. Highlights were the breathtaking sunsets, seadooing around the islands and fires at night. Low lights (of which the owner has no control over) was the low water level which made launching the seadoo a challenge and the water was a chilly 64F. These are minor complaints but overall a great time at Morris’ cottage. The owner Morris was great in responding and very friendly and helpful. I would definitely love to go back next year.

Idyllic gardens and property; and Howe Island is beautiful. The cottage (and amenities) is everything as described, and then some. The water was beautiful.

Property and Location

Location is excellent! Great cottage for a family and / or friends in a quiet neighborhood. Pictures online are accurate. Bateau Channel was calm enough for us to enjoy water sports and explore the 1000 Islands in our boat. Would definitely stay here again.
