We absolutely loved our stay here, almost as much as our dogs did! The house is huge and immaculate, with brand new appliances- fridge, stove, washing machine looked like they had never been used. Five big bedrooms and central air made it very comfortable inside. Huge windows in the living room gave us amazing views of the lake. Plus the two bedrooms downstairs had a full bath which seemed new, another living room and pool, shuffleboard and darts. The house has a perfect location directly on the lake/river and we never saw another person while we were there. There is a neighbor to the right but they are separated by a dock and boathouse. To the left is a ton of land for the dogs to run on and enjoy, plus chase the geese so they didn’t go on the lawn. We found tons of mowed trails through the woods that were well taken care of. There were several entry points to the lake, you just need to go down two steps. Bring water shoes, because bottom is rocky. You can walk quite a ways out and still touch the bottom. Sometimes it was windy and thus quite wavy. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle boat and roasted marshmallows for smores in the fire pit. The house had literally everything we needed but we did drive 15 minutes into town to the store and to eat at several restaurants. We loved spicers and eating on the deck overlooking the water. The house had a huge deck that we enjoyed too. We had the next time and the host responded immediately to any inquiries that we had. Love to return!
We loved staying here. The yard and views of the lake were amazing. Great place for swimming.
