The one and two-story Spanish Hacienda-style villas, with sloping red-tiled roofs hanging over whitewashed plaster walls are luxuriously furnished in early California decor, and boast 10ft. wood-beamed ceilings and 1700 square feet of space, providing the getaway seeker plenty of room to stretch out for a day, a week or a month. Soaking tubs, Wall-mounted flat screen T.V.s, Kohler fixtures, maple wood cabinetry, dream-sleep mattresses, designer sheets and towels, granite counters and wood grain tile floors all add to the opulent spa-like ambiance. The fully amenitized chef's kitchen and open floor plan are perfect for entertaining groups, and all balconies and patios feature private electric grills and patio tables to enjoy cooking and dining outdoors.

The living room as well as both master bedrooms all open through charming french doors onto tranquil balconies, where the aromas of surrounding bougainvillea and glowing palm trees complement romantic evenings of al fresco dining or wine tasting under a canopy of stars. The dual master suites each contain en suite bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and stall showers with floor to ceiling tile.

For those able to pry themselves from the villa, the swimming options abound with 12 private salt water pools and 11 relaxing Jacuzzis, including dedicated lap pool, tranquil adult pool, and the ultimate family pool and play area with its beach-like entry, plus splash fountains and resort cabanas (free of charge). The inviting hammock garden, outdoor fireside lounge area, poolside Cafe, game room, and state of the art fitness facility round out the spectacular 10,000 sq.ft. Clubhouse at the heart of the resort.

For a host of additional options, guests can meander next door to the La Quinta Resort and Club, featuring shopping, outdoor music, six fabulous restaurants, a world class spa, and two Pete Dye championship golf courses.

Main Renter booking the Villa is responsible for their group, must be 21 or older, and must be occupying the property booked for the entire stay.

House Rules
No smoking; no pets without prior consent of owner. Owner may permit small dogs with a $25/nt. additional pet rent. For April Festivals, all guests must be individually registered with the HOA for access at least four days prior to arrival.

Peaceful Retreat in La Quinta

Our week long stay passed way too quickly. The unit itself is newly remodeled, clean and has a great location within the Legacy Villas community--quiet and private yet still close to pool areas. The grounds are beautiful and picturesque, a great place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. It's only a 5 minute drive to Old Town La Quinta which has a wide selection of good restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back!

Great space with options

The condo was in great condition, and was very warm and inviting. With the many pools close by, the girls were able to go lounge at the pool while the guys went to one of the many golf courses in the area. If there was one thing I could complain about, it would be that the water in the showers and bathtubs were not hot at all; merely lukewarm at best. In all, great place; and water temp aside, I would definitely rent again!!

Good spot for a quick Palm Desert family getaway

We had a fun trip to Palm Desert and enjoyed staying at Legacy Villas. 11 pools was a novelty for the kids. Sometimes it was hard to find one with enough pool chairs for the 5 of us in the afternoon but the main pool was a great option, too. Condo was clean and pretty much as described. Kitchen wasn't super well appointed, especially for cooking Thanksgiving dinner but we made due. Had a couple questions for the property manager (hot/cold faucet in the master shower was backwards and we couldn't get the fireplace to turn on) and both times he responded immediately and addressed the issues. He even came by with a box of truffles in the morning! Overall, good spot for a few days in the desert!

Fabulous Oasis in the Desert

What an enjoyable stay we had at the Legacy Villas. Dan was very easy to work with in setting up our reservation for our week in La Quinta. He even asked us ahead of time if we were willing to switch units due to someone else needing ground floor accommodations so there were no surprises upon our arrival. The unit we ended up with was as shown in all the wonderful photos online. Unit is well equipped with everything needed and is very comfortable. The choice of pools is excellent and the way the units are tucked into the foothills provides for excellent vistas. Hiking trails, shops, groceries and even public pickleball courts are all less than 10 minutes away by car. Thanks Dan, we'll come back.

Peaceful escape

Love love love! We have been renting at legacy villas for years and always enjoyed our weekend getaways. This time we stayed a little over a month and it took our appreciation for the resort, landscape and lovely villa to the next level. The pools are all beautiful and are pictured framed with breathtaking views of either the mountains and/or enchanting courtyards. The walks in the late evening, magical. The kitchen is fastidiously equipped for our family of 5. The beds are comfortable and it does not feel like sleeping away from home. We are repeat guests and look forward to coming back every time!

Lovely Resort, Lovely Time!

We rented the downstairs, one bedroom unit for a period of two weeks and I must say that for the most part, everything was wonderful! Just a few recommendations ... purchase a larger t.v. for the living room, get firmer sofa cushions, hang a full length mirror, have the safe repaired so that it can be used by renters, and a having a few more dish towels and a drain board in the kitchen would be helpful. The owner, Dan, quickly responded to any of our inquiries and the manager, Ray, was absolutely wonderful!! He immediately responded to any emails or concerns, ie: when the food disposal didn't work, he sent over the handyman to repair it and when the cable went out following a brief power failure, he came over himself to reset the system. In addition, when the studio lock off was rented for each of the weekends during our stay, Ray alerted us to that fact so that we would not be concerned if we heard any people next door. It should be noted that if you are sitting outside on the patio when the air conditioning condensers go on, the noise is very loud, but that is not the fault of the owner, but rather of the complex builder. All in all, our time at Legacy Villas was wonderful and the property is highly recommended!
