Great place

The beach is right there and absolutley beautiful. Plenty of room to walk along, gorgeous sand, and shallow sandbar area. The unit is well maintained, clean, and the wrap around porch is the perfect place to start and end the day.

House is right at the beach in a very well maintained complex. Very safe and peaceful. Swimming pool was well kept and amazing as well. Beach is just few steps from home, you can see the beach from balcony enjoying the view. The house was very well kept and the owner was very responsive and helpful at each step of the stay. Definitely recommend.

Lovely getaway!

Rio De Mar was the perfect place to stay. Victor’s condo was clean, well stocked and so conveniently located to a beautiful beach (just steps away), grocery store and good restaurants. You could walk for miles on the beach and the waves were so fun to play in. We would definitely come back!!

Beautiful beach

The property was clean, well organized and the decor was lovely. The private beach was clean and beautiful. Most days we had the beach to ourselves. The property was in a gated community so it did take us some time to find the right community and get passed security at check in. Beyond that, coming and going was easy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was amazing! Our host Victor was great, very helpful and responsive when needed. His home is very comfortable and peaceful. The perfect proximity to the beach and pools. We ate breakfast on the balcony every morning and watched the beach and ocean while we ate. We were only 15 minutes from El Yunque and 35 minutes from the airport. It was the perfect vacation!

Our 3rd stay in this area, which we like. Beach is great! Easy check in and communication.Apt was clean, although aromatics took 2 days to air out.Apt was modern, we esp appreciated newer appliances, screens, windows, and doors.Neighborhood was quiet during the week, somewhat noisy weekends with lots of yapping dogs. Most apts are owner occupied.

Quiet paradise

This condo exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated, clean, and well appointed. It’s a short walk to the beach that we usually had completely to ourselves. Kids played on boogie boards in the waves. In the evenings we enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the breeze and the soothing sound of the waves. Short drive to great good and el Yunque

Relaxing apartment by the ocean

This was a really great place for us to land after staying on Vieques in a not as nice hotel. We loved how quiet and close the beach was to us. We enjoyed a day just relaxing and enjoying being near the ocean. It was so easy to come back and get food. The apartment is very clean and well stocked. They even left us a lovely basket of goodies in the fridge. Victor was super easy to communicate with and very helpful. And the deck! I could have stayed in this place for a week with how comfortable and large and beautiful the deck was. We enjoyed meals out there. I even did a little work from the deck, and it didn't feel like work at all. I wish we had stayed longer.

Stayed for a week in April with my two adult daughters and it was everything I had hoped for. There is a fan in every room, we didn’t need to use the A/C once. We opened all the windows and could hear the ocean all day and night. The place is immaculate, artwork stunning, and the beds and linens very comfy. The amenities were thoughtfully provided and included hair products, soap, q-tips, etc. We cooked, played games and enjoyed the large wrap around porch which indeed does have a pristine ocean view. The beach is large, not crowded and the swimming was phenomenal. I’m not really an ocean person but this one was clear and shallow - perfect for all of us. Easy access to Old San Juan, the airport, and best of all, the rain forest. But if all you want to do is just chill there, that is more than enough! Already looking for a future date to bring my husband. The only disappointment was the overly hyped restaurant, Terrazza Montemar. Food was horrible, waitress was quite miserable, ambiance lacking. Skip it! Go to Richie’s instead. Other than that, can’t wait to return! Thank you Victor and Dora!

Ultimate attention to detail

This condo definitely deserves the awesome reviews it has received in the past. My husband and I loved staying here and having our meals in the balcony with the sound of the waves as a lovely background. The unit was extremely clean, well appointed and there were so many details and touches that speak of a carefully prepared place for guests to enjoy: a well supplied kitchen, lots of linens and towels, toilet paper ends folded in triangles and stamped, Q tips and cotton balls in the bathrooms... I could go on and on. We were welcomed with a lovely basket of wines and snacks and there was a bag of local coffee and sweeteners nicely presented on a clear glass tray. We had plenty of room to enjoy, it is very spacious. The beach is very private and we enjoyed long walks. There are 3 pools to enjoy and the grounds are very well kept. We highly recommend dinner at La Estacion in Fajardo, where we ended up after being denied access to El Conquistador (restaurants are for guests only, which we found annoying). We certainly hope to return to this beautiful area and awesome condo. The best we have stayed at so far.

Perfect location for exploring Puerto Rico’s north shore

This lovely property with a balcony overlooking the beach is on a gated community, close to El Yunque Rsinforest and adventures such as zip lining or kayaking in the bioluminiscent bay after dark. Also perfect for just chilling at a beautiful beach . Host Victor is very helpful with suggestions for things to do in the area. Highly recommend this as your PR vacation choice.

H-Town MD Crew in Rio Grande PR

Victor and his spouse are 5-Star Host/Hostess! Check-in was seamless and Victor allowed us to enter the property upon our commute from the airport. The property is quite charming with several personalized art throughout, apparent new kitchen appliances, immaculately clean and receiving. The beds are quite comfortable and the family room, where our family (4 members) gathered during the evenings, has a large TV with the most comfortable lounging furniture! I must state that although it was very hot during the evenings, I truly enjoyed the lanai; beautifully decorated and just the perfect setting to sip wine and enjoy the scenery of the private beach and be ‘kissed by a cool breeze’ ever so often. You will need a vehicle: we were 20 mins from El Yunque Rainforest Junglequi Zip Line, 20 mins from the Surfing Puerto at La Pared Beach Luquillo, and 45 mins (1.20 hrs with AM traffic) from Stand-Up Paddleboard on the Condado Lagoon in San Juan and touring Old San Juan ($10.00 per person covers both museums) by Foot…we were celebrating our oldest daughter’s B-Day…had a blast! Victor and his wife were so kind; checked in to ensure all was going well and also left us a wine and cheese basket. This property is as listed and splendid for family/friends of 4.

Great condo

Traveled with my daughter. The condo was in great shape, and came fully equipped. Very close to the rain forest and the beach is on the property. Went to the Wyndham for dinner, just drive up to the gate and tell them you are going to eat in their restaurant. Was able to get a late check out as our flight was in the afternoon. The property is very quite and clean!

Clean and nice apartment. Owner responses to queries were timely. He made sure our stay was comfortable and smooth without any issues. Bed and Sofa were comfortable. It might be just us, but only thing we would have preferred is to add little more lighting in the living room to brighten it up. However Ocean View from Balcony and kitchen window is amazing so we enjoyed those by spending more time in balcony. Also, just to note the property is on 3rd floor with no elevator. It wasn't an issue for us but might be for some who have difficulty climbing the stairs.

Beautiful Beachfront Apartment - Great Location!

This was our first time visiting the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and Victor's home was the perfect place to stay! Victor's apartment is spacious and he thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We sat on the porch every morning and had our coffee overlooking the water. We walked on the beach, felt safe in the water, and enjoyed swimming in the pools too. Victor's place is also in a convenient location for exploring - swimming with sea turtles in San Juan, Old San Juan, the bio bay in Fajardo, El Yunque National Rainforest are all a short drive away. I'd also recommend the C-Note jazz club just down the road in Luquillo and Finca Don Manuel tropical fruit farm in Santa Isabel. A bit of a drive, but our favorite tour by far. Communication with Victor was great! I highly recommend Victor's place if you are visiting Puerto Rico!
