About this property

Bright Open-Concept Sanctuary

City Center is within walking distance of all the major and minor downtown attractions. Just a few blocks from the Inner Harbour and a few more to the Parliament Buildings and the Royal BC Museum. Restaurants and shopping are also just out your front door. There is also a lovely common area that has an inside and outside component. Take down your coffee and newspaper and enjoy the gas fireplaces while you do some excellent people-watching!

The building was completed in April 2015. City Centre has a lovely 800-square-foot floor plan with a patio to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of Victoria and a bonus view of the mountains from almost every window. It is a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom unit with queen beds in each bedroom. There is a large sitting area for visiting or watching TV. An open concept kitchen lets you chat and prepare your favorites. There are stainless appliances and high-end finishing throughout.

Parking: Parking is included in the monthly rental at no additional cost. Most parking spots are made for a standard-size vehicle, so if you have a non-standard vehicle, please let us know to ensure parking will suit your vehicle.

Cleaning: There is a one-time cleaning fee of $390 that will be added at the time of booking. We also offer bi-weekly or weekly cleaning, which can also be arranged on an hourly basis based on your needs.

All our properties have a $500 bylaw fine for smoking within the unit and the building. This includes vaping and marijuana.

Cancellation policy:
We never know when something may happen, so we always recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance. Once you confirm your reservation, it is still refundable, less a $175 administrative fee, up until you are 30 days before travel. Once you are within 30 days of travel, your reservation becomes 100% nonrefundable. If you are booking a multi-month stay, there will be no administrative fee for changes, and note that you will be required to give 30-day notice of your departure date in writing.

Girls trip!

Excellent location and very well appointed. Loved the small terrace. Enjoyed being able to walk to great coffee and breakfast shops. So many good eating establishments within easy walking distance. We had planned outings for each day and were always able to walk to meeting place - Buchart Gsrdens, whale watching, food tour and high tea. Highly recommend.

We loved the location of this unit! Easy walking to shopping, food, and the harbor. We felt safe walking to and from (it is a secured building), although occasionally we would encounter a "local" sleeping by the outside doors. The unit itself was small...the queen sized beds filled the bedrooms, but it was very comfortable! There were two couples, and we stayed for 3 days, and this was more than adequate. The beds were comfortable, and the large windows made the unit seem spacious! Very, very cute!!

The apartment was very beautiful, wonderfully decorated, clean, and brand new. The finishes were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms had block out blinds which were great in the long summer days. The building was very secure and located in walking distance of pretty much everything the city has to offer. There is a beautiful cafe next door offering lovely pastries, deli items and coffee. We were well taken care of by Deidre who checked in with us before arriving in case we had any questions. We loved it there and would stay again!

Unit was well located in a newer building for a visit in a wonderfully walkable Victoria. The unit was more than adequate in most respects. The bedrooms were small and tended to be over furnished but the beds were comfortable. Comfortable seating was definitely lacking. Other than dinette or balcony chairs, the only seating was the couch part of a sofa bed. Replacing the sofa bed with two comfortable chairs is highly recommended. It was warm during our stay and we needed the windows open. The result was significant city noise in our fifth floor unit. Overall, a pleasant stay

The unit and the whole building is extremely clean and well maintained. Well stocked unit. Beds are very comfortable. Even though we are right downtown the unit itself is very quiet. Speaking of downtown the unit is in a perfect location to all amenities. Deirdre, our welcoming guide, was very accommodating. She checked in with us on a regular basis and even asked if all was well during the Covid-19 quarantine. We could not ask for a better receptionist. Thank you. Even though we had to return home early due to the virus issues we left with positive memories of our experience. We would not hesitate to return.

A great stay, but unhappy with $155 cleaning fee plus chore list

This is a great quiet little condo, in walking distance shopping, waterfront, etc. Overall clean unit, but the clothes washer has mold on the rubber gasket. It needs attention. The chores list included taking out garbage, recycling, and compost and starting a load of laundry on departure in addition to things I would normally expect (cleaning coffee maker filter and starting dishwasher--thats pretty standard stuff at other units I have stayed at). I would have appreciated being offered a discounted cleaning fee if you are expecting me to add laundry and garbage removal.

CheckedInnVictoria changed actual unit a few months before visit. New apt photos presented 2bedrooms. 2nd was really a den with permanently deployed murphy bed not a real bed. Small storage closet inaccessible as a result. There were holes in the bedding and some dishcloths. Location was excellent and it was well equipped for food prep.

Property is great - very centrally located to everything - easy to walk anywhere. Property is exactly as described - manager met us for check-in - we had regular communication leading up to unit being available (we had asked for early check-in) so that was great. Kitchen fully equipped; beds very comfortable. Would suggest trying to add one extra chair in the sitting area so everyone (if more than 2 people) aren't all on the sofa. It would take some rejigging but think that would be valuable if you have more people in the condo. Otherwise, don't hesitate to book. You'll be very happy!

I was met at check in, given an orientation of the building and general overview of shops and markets in the neighbourhood. Heather and Tim were very helpful, if I needed anything they were very accommodating. The location was very suitable, I was able to walk most of the places I wanted to see. I nightly recommend it..

The only suggestion would be to replace/upgrade the master bed with a better mattress and take away the footboard to allow more room around the bed. Also an additional lounge chair of some sort would be a bonus. Other than that everything about the unit and management excellent.

This was our first stay at this condo in this building. We had stayed in this building before but in a different condo! We enjoyed our stay - it was central for us - bank, church, hockey arena, grocery store, Mall and plenty of good restaurants in the area! We have booked for next year (2 months) - what else do we need to say!
