Disappointed

Will start with few good things, house is large and nice, downstairs is great with the games and a comfortable space, good location overall. Onto the issues we had. When we arrived, looked fine to begin with, nice welcome package. Then we started to notice large dead black flies EVERYWHERE, more than 50. I messaged the property manager, Jeremiah, who told me the owners had cleaned the house 3 weeks prior and that the house didn’t need to be inspected if the owners cleaned the house (didn’t offer anything else, like having cleaning crew come or some sort of reimbursement). Doesn’t matter what the policy is, there should not be dead flies all over a house that’s over $1k per night (or any house for that matter). And then next, opened the refrigerator to find it shut off and smelled horrible. Noticed a sign on the front that said the fridge had broke and a new one is on its way and that we had to use the fridge in the garage. This is unacceptable, and note this had not been communicated before hand. We had 8 kids with us, it’s extremely inconvenient to be using a fridge in the garage. Spoke with the property manager again, who reiterated what the sign said…didn’t offer anything else. Very disappointing. And then to add to that, tv’s were very hard to work, back deck was filled with leaves. I told the property manager all of this, he said he would talk to the owners about a reimbursement, followed up and still nothing, has been 2 weeks since we left.
