Sun room with daybed can be used as a bedroom if desired. Large back yard and deck perfect for entertaining. Parking for six cars on the lot, which is crucial in this parking poor location.Gas fireplace, morning stair, dining room large enough for ten. Gas heat and gas stove. Cottage comes with wireless internet, cable tv, dishwasher, washer/dryer, bed linens, all included. Furnishings chosen to match house. Storage in closets, and within very large deacon's chair beds with pull open access doors. Please note that no refunds can be given after arrival. Please come visit the house ahead of time to insure it meets your needs or have an agent come see the house on your behalf. Very happy to accommodate you.
The street:
Ocean Street is famous for unaltered victorian era beach homes. Enjoy a commanding view of Massachusetts Bay from the expansive wrap around porch. Tidal pools and sandy beach across the street from home at low tide. Called the "high road" for its commanding views and protection from storms, this road dead ends a few blocks down and is used mostly by strollers and joggers.
The town:
One minute walk to town beach, four restaurants and full service grocery in the Brant Rock "Esplanade". The Famous Fairview Inn is four doors to the south for fine dining and ocean views. Leave your car idle - walk everywhere.
The larger area:
Many attractions nearby: Historic Plymouth, Marshfield Fair, Duxbury. 1.5 hour drive to Boston.
Non summer months: We have a discounted daily, weekly and monthly rate for winter with a three day minimum stay. Home is completely winterized and above flood line. Dramatic views always and exciting but safe to watch winter storms. A much better option than hotels for Thanksgiving or Christmas visits. Support is available 24/7 from my family members who live in the area.

About the host
Hosted by Patrick Condon

Massachusetts native born and raised in Brockton. Used to come here constantly in summers. Loved it. Teaching in Vancouver BC now but plan to retire into this home eventually. In the meantime its my pleasure to make this home available to my family and a few select folks who may become family too!
Why they chose this property
This property was selected after years looking. Its above the flood line so has avoided damage for 100 years. Has a classic victorian summer cottage three sided veranda which sold me. It needed work and will require tinkering forever but thats its charm too. A huge number of people can gather to chat and dine either inside, or under the sky, or under the porch roof. Huge back yard makes parking a breeze and that ends up being more important than you think.
What makes this property unique
Dramatic ocean views from every bedroom. You really feel like you are in a boat from up there, the water is that close.
