For families with children, this is an excellent vacation spot with a great range of water facilities, great accommodations and a beautiful setting.
The Muskoka family compound, made up of three fully serviced cottages, makes a great setting for larger groups. There is ample room to spread out and common areas for evenings around the campfire, a fabulous hot tub and a large dock for swimming. An excellent family vacation destination.

Awesome cottage for all to enjoy.
We recently stayed at this property June 6 - 9 2024. It is an amazing cottage for groups of men on a golfing trip or family and friends for a weekend or week stay. The cottage has all the amenities that one would hope to have at a cottage, the location is perfect as well as there's lots of space between cottages.
I would strongly recommend this cottage if you have a number of family members looking to get away for a weekend or week. The 3 separate cabins makes it ideal for large families to enjoy and still have there own space.
Our team stayed here for a work retreat and we all loved it! The hosts were so great with communication and being available for any questions. The cottages have that "cabin feeling" but with a modern kitchen and lots of kitchen utensils. and clean. We really enjoyed the three separate cottages, as it gave us more space. The dock, kayaks and SUPs were also a lot of fun, and wifi was also very good throughout the property. We all highly recommend the space and the hosts! Thanks to you both, Marshall and Stephanie!

Fantasic Muskoka Escape
We recently stayed at this incredible property and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Nestled right on the lake, the setting is absolutely breathtaking – peaceful mornings by the water, stunning sunsets, and the gentle sounds of nature all around. It’s the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What really sets this place apart are the three separate cottages on the property. This setup was perfect for our group – we had plenty of privacy while still being able to enjoy time together. Each cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it easy for everyone to feel right at home. Even though it feels like a secluded retreat, the property is just 10 minutes from town, so everything we needed – groceries, shops, restaurants – was close and convenient. If you're looking for a relaxing lakeside escape with plenty of space and charm, this place is it. We’re already talking about booking our next trip back. Highly recommend! A true hidden gem!

Exceeded all expectations! I wonder if....was always met with of course it is! See explanation below.
We just got back from a wonderful 4 days at this lakeside paradise. It was our second time and it appears that this will be an annual event. It was 8 adults ranging in age from 30's to mid 60's that went mainly to golf....however the cottage has become the real attraction.
Each of the 3 cottages is fully equipped and furnished with literally anything your mind could imagine which is why we quickly found out .... "I wonder if they have (whatever you wondered)....and you would find it in a cupboard, closet or drawer!" Everything from bbq tongs, to a game of Battleship to a two person peddle boat!. Marshall and Stephanie have built a perfect oasis and we are indeed lucky that they share it.
We thought it was perfect already yet they still somehow find ways to improve it. This year they added a spectacular hot tub and air conditioning. The entire compound is meticulously maintained inside and out.
It will be an annual treat for our group! Book early as you will not be disappointed and before the secret about this wonderful place gets out!

Thanks Ben for your review.
I'm so glad you all had a great time again. As you've noticed, I really care about the cottages and the guest experience. I always put myself in the position of the guest which is why I keep improving the cottages. I'm glad you noticed and appreciated all the of the efforts I've put into the cottages and the property.
You left the cottages very clean when you left so I'm very appreciative of that.
Looking forward to having you come back again.
Property was great, very well thought-out. Lots of cozy spaces and great outdoor space. Host went above and beyond with making sure our team had a superb stay. Much appreciated.
We decided to hold our leadership team event here and it was a great choice- It was a mix of work and play and we really enjoy the space. The water was surprisingly warm and I got to enjoy the stand up paddle boards and kayaks. Beds were comfy and the cottages were nice a clean with newly renovated kitchens. Would recommend to others.

Family moon
Property is very well maintained, has all the comforts of home. The owners Marshall and Stephanie were very helpful with attractions and stores in the area (especially the Bakery). Beautiful lake great for swimming, boarding, skiing and fishing (our grandsons were excited as they caught a fish on every outing) or just relaxing on the dock. Sitting around the fire was a family favourite. Family from England loved the area, lots to see and do. Our last evening was dinner at the Dockside, great eating. A great place for a family holiday..highly recommend it.

The cottages are extremely well-equipped, especially the kitchens...everything you could want or need. The location is very private. Perfect for water sports, fishing, and also quiet time, with multiple places to relax... both outside and inside!! Our little grandson was thrilled to catch his first fish there!!
It was a great family time for us, and I certainly would go back.

Great vacation spot!
These 3 cottages were the perfect set up for our family of 10 adults and 2 young children. The kitchens were well equipped and the board games in the cottages were great to have on hand for a rainy day. The location provides a private, quiet and picturesque setting. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the canoes, fishing, swimming and sitting around the bonfire in the evenings. The owners were very accommodating and ensured that everything we needed was there to add to a most enjoyable vacation.

Quality time together.
We had a glorious weekend. The weather awas perfect. My husband and I spent two days with our grandchildren who are ten and eight. The time flew by very quickly as the kids kayaked, canoed, swam, fished, and jumped on the trampoline. In the evening we played cards and board games. Neither child asked to watch television or use their iPad . We went into Gravenhurst one evening for ice cream and a short walk in the town. A great time was had by all

the owner was great an cooperative. the did everything to. make sure we have an excellent stay.
The place was beautiful. The view was breathtaking. The privacy was there if you wanted to be separated from other family members yet was a warm place to bring a large group together. You barely find a place where you can fit a large group and yet be comfortable. I am looking forward to rent this property in the summer. :)

A Small Piece of Paradise
Wow, what a true gem! Photos do not justify the peaceful serenity of this property. The entire 360º view is just beautiful. The plush forest, birds chirping away, slight rustling of the tree canopy above – I instantly became relaxed as soon as i stepped out of the car. The property is very clean, well maintained and the landscaped steps down to the water was great. A really nice surprise was the hammock and the elevated view overlooking the bay and sunsets on the southwest side of the property.
My wife and I enjoyed taking advantage of the canoe/kayaks for some mid afternoon paddles and relaxing under the stars at night next to the campfire was a real treat. We are already talking about another visit next year :)
