Dating back to the 1850s, The Black Horse Inn was originally built before two more additions were constructed in the early 1900s. The Inn's main house served as a hospital during local Civil War battles before assuming the role of a courthouse after the original Fauquier Courthouse burned down in 1853. Named after the Black Horse Cavalry, who fought during the Civil War, the Inn at Black Horse Manor stands as a testament to both history and hospitality.

With nine exquisite suites in the Main Inn, each guest is promised a singular experience. The rooms themselves are a reflection of elegance and comfort, meticulously designed to cater to every need and desire. When you book with us, you'll receive our Inn Welcome Guide which has all the details and amenities for your stay, as well as a curated "Activities in the Area" section. Our Inn has 9 bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. There's also a wonderful living and dining space, perfect for all your guests.
