Welcome to the Elk Cabin, your base at our campground! Featuring a queen size bedroom, a twin-size bunk bed, and a pull-out sofa, the space is perfect for bringing the whole crew. It also has a private bath, living/dining area, a full kitchen and plenty of space on the fenced-in deck overlooking Deep Creek. Located in the calm of nature at our rustic campsite, perfect for anyone from families to solo adventurers.
On-site amenities:
- General Store: Hand-dipped Blue Bell ice cream; Camping and weekend essentials; Firewood/ice; Tube rentals - enjoy a discount during your stay. Many guests choose to float their tubes directly back to the cabin!
- Wize Guyz Grille Express (open seasonally)
- Playground and picnic pavilion
- Walking distance to Deep Creek - we are as close as it gets to the Deep Creek entrance of the GSMNP! Here you have access to tubing, picnicking, fishing, and lots of hiking, including a short hike to 3 waterfalls
- Weekly social events at our campground, including live music, games and activities
- 5 minute drive to downtown Bryson City, 20 minute drive to Cherokee, just to name a few. There is truly no shortage of activities to keep you busy
