We stayed here for a family event in the area. The house was wonderful, great for a family and pet friendly for an added bonus. Lots of room to spread out and a lot of games for a rainy day. We will absolutely stay here again when we are in Murfreesboro
Host was very prompt about any issues we had. Was a great stay, peaceful and quiet but close to town still. Would stay there again for sure!

Plan a run to the store before you arrive. The list of amenities includes toilet paper and soap. Per my messaging with the owner after arriving, they only provide “a starter kit” of toilet paper and soap. That means one partial roll of toilet paper per bathroom and a single bottle of hand soap for the 3 bathrooms. No wash cloths, shampoo or soap for the showers are provided. The house is very unique in its layout and decor, but lacked a lot when it came to cleanliness upon our arrival. Perhaps they had an off day with the cleaning crew. Lastly, if you are squeamish about mice, this will not be a good fit. There are a lot of traps around and we did have a dead mouse in one of them after our first night.
This house was perfect for our family for 3 nights. Plenty of room, extra blankets and pillows in the closets. We bought extra towels and washcloths because one review said there wasn't any washcloths. I had a brand new pack of washcloths and left a few of them for the next guests. But there was plenty. House was clean. A little dusty but not a biggie. It's dusty every where right now. We had a Thunderstorm Saturday evening. Had the best sleep with the rain hitting the skylights. The property is peaceful and relaxing. But just down the street is the hustle amd bustle, but we couldn't tell. Walmart is literally around the corner. We cooked at the house. Plenty of pans, plates and utensils. One thing to note, there are 2 driveways, one at top to get into the house without needing to use stairs, and the other goes to the back of the house where the stairs are. We had a great time with our family. We had a family reunion in nearby Chapel Hill on Sunday. My brother and sister in law came from Florida and stayed with us, my mother in law and our 2 boys. Again, plenty of room for a big family. We loved our stay so much. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!
The place is quiet and peaceful. It’s convenient to Walmart and Aldi. Problems are it needs some upkeep. Banisters on stairs going up are green and dirty from not being cleaned, the couch is broken, one upstairs bed frame was broken, not a dish towel in the kitchen, no wash clothes or hand towels in any bathroom, and there were 4 really small towels in any bathroom. Overall it’s cute, big, and would be really nice if they came in and cleaned up the outside areas and added some towels. Their WiFi worked okay, the one tv we used worked well, and the hot water lasted and water pressure was good.

We got to the house and there was poison ivy growing on the stairs leading up to the house. The outside furniture was so old and dirty we were unable to use it. The. We got inside and it was dusty and dirty. We also found mouse poop in a few spot of the house. There’s also a little window in the upper loft bedroom that is open to below. They put a stool and decorative wire over it but I didn’t thing that was safe for young kids to be up there. The furniture in the living room was ripped and had stains all over it. Overall we were very unpleased with the house and its condition and did not stay even a night there.
It was a nice, clean and comfortable home. Really suited our needs for a family wedding in the area. We couldn’t find an iron. The driveway gravel has some deep ruts which should be regraded.
Okay, I have to talk about this place because it’s honestly such a vibe. It’s up on top of literally the tallest hill lol. Completely tucked back in the woods, like you are in nature. It’s quiet, peaceful, and just feels like a reset the second you get there. The house itself is beautiful, super cozy, and really well kept. But what made it even better was the hosts, they were so kind and welcoming. They actually left me a birthday present, which was just such a thoughtful touch and made the whole stay feel really personal. And yes, there are stink bugs. It’s the woods, so that’s just part of it.. but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all. It felt like a fair trade for being somewhere this peaceful and secluded. If you’re looking for a place to unplug and just be surrounded by nature, this is 100% it. I will definitely be back.
The place was so clean and beautiful. The only issue we had was the start of the driveway it was hard to get my wheels over the dip in the initial pull up . I was afraid each time we tried to pull up we would get stuck
House location was great. The property is beautiful and large. The host is so quick to respond and LOVELY! A draw back was the cleanliness of the house. The bugs, as mentioned in other posts don’t bother me but under the beds it was gross and the pull out couch had fries and chips and a paper plate under it. Also, 3 of the 4 mattresses were uncomfortable… hard and worn in. We rented the house for sleeping only so on that front I would rate 1/5.
