Larry was a great host, the location is ideal for a quiet getaway, especially if you plan on hiking the great trails nearby. Our trip was solely to hike Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This was an perfect home base for that.

relaxing place to stay

Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Really nice stream right in front of the campers. Relaxing and quiet. Will go again.

What a gem! Clean, well-equipped with everything you need but food/drink, direct access and view of the creek (river?) and a smokeless fire pit with a bundle of wood and kindling provided! They have more wood available on site for purchase (cash box or VRBO charge) which saved me a trip back into town. There’s even a little TV with DVDs available in the camper. Everything was clean and comfortable. There’s WiFi in/near the camper but I got no cell service (Verizon) at the location, making the WiFi extremely helpful. The bed was short - I’m 5’5” and it was perfect for me but I imagine if you’re much taller you may feel a little cramped - but wide and comfortable enough. The heater is right under the bed but I enjoyed the “white noise” of it. It may bother light sleepers. I only needed it in the early hours of the morning though as it was a warm night and there was an extra blanket in the cabinet. The fridge was great; bigger than a typical “mini fridge” but won’t fit thanksgiving leftovers. There’s a toilet in the camper and porta-potties just a 30-second walk away. The sink water gets warm to wash dishes and soap/sponge were provided. I didn’t use the communal outdoor shower but it’s available for use. There are 3 campers but they’re spread out so it’s much more private and quieter than a typical campground. The creek is beautiful and I enjoyed sitting and relaxing while listening to the water. I plan to return with my boys for a fun, easy camping experience!
