About this property

Welcome to the Brentwood Chalet in The Hideout

This spacious home is nestled in the Hideout in the Poconos! Just two hours from NYC and Philadelphia. As part of The Hideout, guests will have access to 5 lakes, 2 beaches, marina with kayak/canoe rentals, private 9-hole golf course, 2 heated outdoor pools and kiddie pool, outdoor basketball/tennis/volleyball courts, playgrounds, ski slopes, snow tubing, ice skating, hiking trails, recreation center (indoor courts, game room, gym), art center, mini golf, Club House restaurant and Tiki Bar.

This is the place to be for any vacation whether summer or winter. This 3 BR, 3 Bath house with sleeping loft and private sleeping area in the full finished basement can sleep 13 comfortably. It is in the "Golden Triangle" of this recreational community. Just a 10 minute walk to the main beach/pool/tiki bar and ski in/ski out from the ski hill.

Come into the main floor with cathedral ceilings, open floor plan featuring the main living room, dining area a fully stocked kitchen. 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a full bathroom are also on this floor. The large, spacious deck leads to a secluded, screened in porch for outdoor eating and then out the a private back deck with fenced in area for the dogs.

The second floor features and oversized loft with dedicated workspace and twin/twin bunk beds, the master suite with king sized bed and en suite full bath.

The full finished basement has a family room area, complete with ping pong table, dart board, another sleeping area with 2 twin beds and a twin trundle as well as a full bathroom.

Pool, lake and outdoor court access are included in every booking.



****Please Note: This home is located in a secured, gated, private community. You will need to fill out a rental contract and agree to the community and house rules. This will need to be completed and signed, (to include the names, ages, addresses and relationships to you for all of your guests) for entrance into the community. This will need to be completed within 72 hours of your arrival or the community will assess a $100 late fee that you will be responsible for. Any violations will be subject to citations from the community and possible eviction from the property. It will be sent to you by our property manager upon booking. You may not exceed the max amount of people allowed and there are no more than 6 cars allowed in the driveway. No other guests can visit the lot while you are there. Items provided in the home to include games, appliances etc. are subject to change without notice.****

The house was just what we expected. There was plenty of room for our crew and we had all we needed. Check in and out process was well explained and was easy. It was nice having access to all of the Hideout facilities- pool, beach, and restaurants.

The home was as it's pictures and we enjoyed our family while we were there for 5 days. A few things needed fixing. What was most disappointing was the communication (owner to property manager, and property manager to renter) and the custmer service.

Nice size very clean. No air conditioning in common areas. Very disappointing. The book with activities and house facilities etc. Very helpful. Candace the property manager was outstanding and quite an asset to you, the community and the homeowner. Helpful and fast with every need. Minor plumbing issue handled. The mattresses in the basement could use replacing. But overall we were very pleased. Would return and recommend to others.

The house was not ready for renters on day 1. The air conditioning units were not set up correctly with two portable units upstairs drawing electricity from one 15 amp circuit breaker, which tripped several times. It was up to me to run around and figure out what to do and to secure the window adapters in place. Not what I wanted to do on day 1 to try and keep kids happy. The house was uncomfortably warm the first 3 days. Also the outdoor grill was filthy.
