This Berkeley Springs cabin is perfect for a couple's getaway or a solo retreat. This well-equipped getaway offers an ideal location for peaceful rest or as a homebase for outdoor adventures. Ready to play pickleball? The court is ready for you, directly in front of the cabin. Enjoy the special views of the wooded property and Sleepy Creek Nature Preserve. Enjoy excursions to Cacapon State Park or downtown Berkeley Springs and then unwind with a barbeque, reading a book by the propane fireplace or gather at the firepit beneath the stars. An ourdoor table awaits your dining creations, and a roomy queen bedroom gives you nightly respite. Bringing some friends along? A pullout sofa bed is in the main area. Truly, the best spot may be drawing a chair up to the window and pondering the world.

This cabin is situated on 35 acres of West Virginia heaven. It is approximately a 1/2 mile walk (drive) to the creek. Be aware that there are stairs to this upper level living. The entire lower level is the owner's personal garage and is not occupied. This cabin/barn is up and away from the other 3 cabins that are available on this 35 acre property.

INDOOR LIVING: 2 Flat screen tv's, living area and bedroom, high ceilings, ceiling fans, en-suite bathroom
KITCHEN: Full kitchen with coffee maker, dishware and flatware, refrigerator, microwave
GENERAL: Free WiFi, air-conditioning, cable/satellite, complimentary toiletries, suitable for children
ADDTIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS: 3 additional properties are available on-site, each with separate nightly rates, a 1 bedroom for 2 guests, a studio for 2 guests and a 3 bedroom for 8 guests. If you would like to reserve multiple units, please inquire for more information prior ti booking.

This was our fourth time staying on the property and we loved this house the most! Beautiful views and everything we needed!We can always count on it being very clean, which we appreciate! Beautiful place that feels isolated, but is close to so many fun things. Hosts were easy to contact and place had a lot of thoughtful touches. There are other properties on the land, but they’re spaced out like houses on a normal street. It was quiet and comfy and just lovely. Thanks!

A stunning property to explore with a wonderful home to stay in. Everything was perfect - seriously. The hosts provided detailed instructions and nothing was overlooked in the house. I highly recommend this destination. Only minutes from the heart of Bath/Berkeley Springs with lots of wildlife. Enjoy.

The home was just beautiful- even better than the pictures portrayed. The hosts stopped by to bring over a new battery for the fireplace remote, and they were so nice and friendly. The only drawback was that it rained our whole 2 days , so we were not able to enjoy the outdoors, the fire pit or even the starry night sky, which was a great disappointment. We were very grateful for the two big comfy chairs in front of the large Smart TV, and the ability to find some interesting things to watch on TV. And we enjoyed nice breakfasts in Berkeley Springs, and finally a hike at Cacapon State Park the day we were leaving. If we decide to visit the area again, we would love to return to this charming home!

Outstanding Cabin

The pictures for this cabin don't reflect how roomy and spacious this place is! It is a very clean, comfortable and quiet retreat. A Wonderful Escape!

The Barn is a cozy, comfy, and clean get away. We had no issues getting to and from the property with clear directions and it is in a perfect location to get to Berkley Springs or any of the surrounding towns/resorts. Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful, private getao

A gorgeous property with lots of privacy. We had our own fire pit, and the hosts graciously provided fire starters, wood, and even s'mores ingredients! The bed was VERY comfortable, the bathroom was huge and modern, and the living area was cosy for a movie night. We would absolutely like to stay here again!

Wonderful Getaway

Beautiful, quiet, and private retreat in the hills outside of Berkeley Springs! Minutes from all the activities in town. Check in and owner communication was excellent. The cabin was spotless, beautiful inside, and nicely decorated/equipped. Great views of the nearby hills. Would definitely go back again!!

Post-School Year Writing Retreat

As a teacher, I needed something to look forward to for the end of my school year. This year I decided that a week away from the routines of my day-to-day life were in order; I've had an in-progress bit of writing collecting digital dust for longer than I'd like to admit.What I needed? Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! Anything to get my writing re-started...Patricia and Bill turned out to have the perfect location to meet my needs. The star reviews for the quality of life accommodations (cleanliness, ability to be in communication, facilities, etc.) were all 5/5 for very good reason.I couldn't recommend staying with them more!

Retreat Get-away

Perfect place for us to escape the noise and have a weekend retreat! The location and the house were absolutely beautiful, peaceful and quiet Ideally suited for prayer as well as for relating. The house was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, well-apportioned and had everything you could need - including kitchen supplies and toiletries. The fireplace was a cozy spot for evening recollection and reflection. Great spaces to get a good walk, or to just sit and get a perspective. All of the sights and conveniences of Berkeley Springs were just a short car-ride away. We'll be back again! Thank you, Patricia, for making such a lovely home available to us!

Beautiful, cozy cabin

This cabin sits in a very private, peaceful location. The interior decor is exceptionally charming and cozy, while the huge windows give an airy feel to the main living area. The big, comfy reading chairs and the gas fireplace are so inviting! The cabin was sparkling clean and well supplied with everything needed. Pictures are very accurate and the cabin is a great value for the price. I spent some time walking the property trails down to the creek and shopping in Berkeley Springs, but mostly just luxuriated in the lovely, peaceful setting and the amazing views. Communication with the host was excellent as well. I do recommend arriving during the daytime as the roads up to and around the cabin could be a bit hard to negotiate at night. All in all, I loved my stay and highly recommend this property. Thank you, Pat and Bill!

Wonderful Place With Breathtaking Views

This place was exactly what my partner and I were looking for in a rental! The views seen in the morning were wonderful. I never got tired of waking up and seeing the mountains and clouds brush past them. We went during Christmas week and it did feel really special being there during that time of year. The owners of the property were very friendly and made sure we were alright throughout the week. There was no worry of asking something to them as I knew they would be helpful in answering any questions we had during our stay. They even made sure we were good to go on disposing of trash in the middle of the week and personally came by to pick up the bags of trash. It was also nice to see that they had set up a snack station with things ready to make s'mores! All the decor in the house was a nice touch to make it feel like a home away from home. It gave off such cozy vibes! As a person who lives in the city, it was so nice to listen to the silence outside being interrupted just by the wind! The outside area is so massive as well! If we had more time, we would have definitely taken the opportunity to walk around the area. We are definitely considering this place in the future!

Great place to get away. The house is large and is meticulously decorated with historic relics from all over. Everywhere you look there was something different and interesting of historical significance. The view of the stars at night was beautiful and Bill was a great host. My wife and I loved the stay.
