Esther and Ebi were wonderful. They replied to our every concern. The place is large, and had access to nice laundry facilities in the basement. Friendly neighborhood, and close to everything we needed
We had a great stay! Very convenient location, apartment is only 15 to 20 minutes away from the zoo, aquarium, museums and lake! Clean and quiet, and the host was very attentive to any needs!

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Amenities
The Pros: Adorable little duplex! Close to the Museum of Art, Lakeview Cemetery, parks and downtown attractions. Spacious kitchen and gas stove. The beds were comfy, the sofa was comfy. Solid WiFi connection. Standing floor fans in each bedroom! Neighborhood was quiet.
The cons: the doors don’t latch closed - anywhere. The bathroom door had to be wedged with a washcloth to keep it closed. (Or your foot lol) No CENTRAL air conditioning - in the winter, no problem. There is a small portable unit in the lounge, which works well as long as the doors are closed. The back yard/parking area was littered with a good deal of broken glass. Wasn’t a spare set of linens for the sofa, had to find a shop to buy a cheap set. 😂 Also, outside of a bar of soap, bottle of dawn, and a toothbrush/paste - there are no other hygiene items if you forget something.
I’d stay again!
Our stay ended up being fine. It definitely was not the worst place I have stayed as well as it was not the best place I have stayed. It is a very old property that could be a fantastic place to stay with a little TLC. If you had to do anything in the bathroom you had to pull up on the door to make it latch. The amenities were on the minimal side. We only had a couple of day stay, but there was only two rolls of toilet paper left for us. But to be fair, we did not run out. There were four of us and there were only four towels. The neighborhood is not what I would consider bad but if I had kids with me I might not be letting them play outside. We could hear sounds outside at night, but there’s nothing that the owner of the property could do about that just trying to be informative. The beds were a little firm. It did have very good Wi-Fi. It was very convenient to get downtown. The living room was pretty homey and all of the appliances look new. It was very easy to check in. I hope this was informative for people who choose to stay here in the future
