Malibu Modern Haven: Mountain Views

Just 5 miles from Malibu & its world renowned beaches, & a short drive to Calabasas, this stunning home offers you everything you could need for an unforgettable vacation or staycation.

Each room is carefully curated and specifically designed to offer a unique experience like nothing else.

From the one of a kind architecture, to the state of the art interior design, to the stunning views of Malibu Creek State Park, and the sounds & views of wildlife & more, you will leave feeling refreshed & inspired- and ready to return!

The house is part of The Malibu Retreat, which is a 5 acres estate that has another luxury home, a guest house and two apartments.

Each unit has complete and total privacy.

The only shared spaces are parking (the driveway is huge, with designated parking for each unit)

Please note there is an additional fee to use the pool and jacuzzi area and availability may vary. If you would like to use the pool and jacuzzi please indicate when you inquire.

The house has its own private backyard that looks out to the Santa Monica Mountains for epic sunsets.

There is an outdoor BBQ area perfect for grilling or watching the game- equipped with an outdoor TV and bar area for the whole fam to enjoy.

Downstairs is expansive & full of light, with tall, vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped, state of the art kitchen, living area (with a gorgeous view), and a guest bedroom and bathroom.

The smart tv has an array of streaming channels and you can choose from a ton of records to enjoy on the brand new record player.

Upstairs, you’ll find the master suite & two other guest bedrooms, all with stunning views of the mountains.

The “Zen Room” has a daybed, yoga mats & equipment, some light weights and comes with its own private entrance as well as a desk and work area in case you need some privacy and to get some work done during your stay.

The “Garden Room”, which sleeps two, connects via the master suite and has beautiful views of the mountains & a TV equipped with streaming channels.

Instacart & Uber eats do deliver to the property & while we recommend renting a car during your trip (there are so many sights you’ll want to see!) both Uber and Lyft are accessible to the property as well.

There are grocery stores in either direction, whether you want to go to Ralph’s or Whole Foods in Malibu, or Erewhon or Albertsons in Calabasas.
If you’re not local, we definitely recommend checking out Erewhon at least one time during your trip.
It’s a one of a kind foodie experience to say the least!

One of LA’s top restaurants of all time is even at the base of the driveway! Saddle peak Lodge has been around and served some of the classics for over 5 decades.
It’s worth a night out, whether dinner, drinks, hanging at the bar or even brunch over the weekend.

There are tons of amazing beaches near by, from Topanga State Beach, to Malibu, to Zuma & El Matador, you really can’t go wrong.

If you’re a hiker, the backbone trail is walkable from the property (ask us for directions if you’re interested) and there are a lot of other epic hikes near by (our other favorite is corral canyon in Malibu which has expansive views of the ocean)
