You’ll find local cafes and restaurants within walking distance, perfect for a casual breakfast, coffee, or dinner nearby. The main beach and downtown area, where you’ll find many of the island’s restaurants, shops, bars, and beach clubs, is about a 15-minute golf cart ride or taxi ride away.

For a beautiful start to the day, take an early morning walk toward Playa Sur. It’s about a 45-minute walk and is one of the most peaceful places to watch the sunrise, with ocean waves hitting the rocks and open Caribbean views all around.

La Gloria is a great home base for guests who want a calmer, more local island experience while still being close to beaches, restaurants, shops, and Isla Mujeres’ main attractions.
