Timberwood Cottage in Downtown Twain Harte

Set out on an adventure and return to a retreat of peace and relaxation just 54 miles to Yosemite National Park west entrance (additional 25 miles to Valley), 30 minutes to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and Pincrest Lake. Open the front door to the cottage to find a bright space which beautifully showcases the locally harvested Sugarpine beams and trim work. Nestled in the pines yet close to all amenities downtown Twain Harte has to offer, you will be immersed in natural beauty both inside and outside.

The space offers open concept living and sleeping space for up to four people. It includes a kitchen that is just the right size for preparing a simple meal with an Italian "ILVE" convection range and new appliances with a vintage flare. The bathroom has a tiled shower with glass door and is stocked with plush towels. There is a King size organic "Avocado" brand mattress, as well as two twin beds in the loft area. In the living room there is a smart TV and high speed internet. Enjoy the beautiful local artwork on the walls throughout the space as well as local guidebooks to help you get your adventure off on the right foot. You will have all the comforts of home including fresh coffee beans from our local roastmaster at Revive Coffee.

This property has an exceptional outdoor space with private patio which includes a gas fire pit. Listen to the stillness that surrounds you as you recall the events of the day.

The Timberwood cottage is a place for wonderful memories to be made inspiring you to make it a regular retreat whenever you're looking to escape to the pines.

The cottage is attached to our main house and is located underneath our garage. It has its own private exterior entrance with no interior access to the main house keeping both of our spaces private. Access into the space is obtained through the lower exterior door by a coded deadbolt lock and will require you to go down the stairway seen in the photos.

Snow does fall during the winter months and our street is plowed by a private snowplow contractor very regularly. A snow shovel is available in the cottage for you to access your car during heavy storms.

Guests can park in front of the main house on the gravel parking pad or in the cul-de-sac. Please do not block garage doors as we come and go regularly.
