We enjoyed our stay overall and appreciated the opportunity to visit Portland. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable visit, but there were a few things that could be improved for future guests.There was a noticeable smell inside the house that never really went away during our stay. The pillows were also difficult to sleep on, as they were either very flat or extremely firm, so having a few medium-support options would be a nice addition. We also noticed that no washcloths were provided, which was a small but unexpected inconvenience.With a few updates to address these issues, this could be an even more enjoyable place to stay. Thank you for hosting us.

Thank you for your review. If something didn't seem right I would have appreciated you letting me know at check in so any issues could be addressed. There are lots of extra bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths in the linen closet that were available for use during your stay. There are also extra pillows in the closets. Thank you for your feedback as I strive to provide a comfortable stay for all guests.

Cute, bright and clean.

This place was perfect for a quick little get away. The hot tub was in a private location, the rooms were super clean. Overall it was a completely pleasant stay.

There were lots of dust around the home (so much that when we ran our fingers through it, it piled up) cobwebs, and main walk areas and bedrooms had hair/trash accumulating all around. I had to clean while I was there. The dishwasher wasn’t emptied and you were expected to take out the trash and strip the beds before leaving. The beds were soft (collapsed in the middle) and the pillows were completely flat and one even smelled like perfume. Not sure how old and clean they were. So flat I folded them in half. The house itself is old with very random nice finishes. Positives: hot shower, air conditioning, quiet neighborhood

Thank you for your review. I am a little confused and concerned because that is not the countertop in the home... I also wish you would have brought up any issues at check in so that they could be addressed immediately. The only thing you mentioned at the time was the few clean things left in the dishwasher that the cleaner forgot to put away, you did not mention anything else about the home. Had you done so, I would have been happy to address it. The sheets/pillowcases are washed after every single guest and the floors are vacuumed and mopped before every reservation, so I'm not sure what you mean by trash accumulating. Cleanliness is very important and I strive to provide all guests with a comfortable stay.

We stayed at Lauren’s home because we were having some construction done at our home nearby. Her home was well appointed with anything we could want/need.Lauren was very accommodating when my husband needed to be hospitalized, getting us in early. She is an excellent communicator … quick to respond and clear in all her messages. Highly recommend this home!B

Just OK. House is clean but old. Needs some updating. Fine for three or less people. We had two couples and had to bring in outdoor furniture to have enough places to sit in living room area. Small bathrooms and shower. Big comfortable bed in master bedroom.

A home away from home

I do not have enough words to describe our experience. The home was clean, tidy and well kept. Amazing all around. Location was also prime with grocery stores, multiple restaurants and tourists sites all near by. I loved that the host has a full kitchen. My family and I were able to enjoy our home cooked meals while on vacation. This was a wonderful treat. I plan on using vrbo in the future.
