WiFi was perfect for kids and iPads. Thanks. The accommodations were roomy and clean. However, there were not enough tvs for gaming. We also didn’t have access to more garbage bags for cleaning or properly setting trash out. Family gatherings mean more food, more garbage and different age ranges. TVs for gaming is a plus. WiFi was

Great for Group Stay but Could Use More Beds

Several colleagues and I stayed here for a conference in Springfield. While the location was fairly convenient and the house was very clean, there were areas that could be improved upon. We loved having several bathrooms but there was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no extras for replacements. We ended up having to buys some. Instead of having king beds in every room, it would be nice to have one king bedroom and to have multiple beds in the other bedrooms. The basement is huge and has a lovely projector set up but it would be much nicer if there was a lot more comfortable seating down there so that that room could be utilized more. The living room is set up in such a way that makes it inconvenient and uncomfortable to watch TV without moving the furniture which they asked us not to do. But it worked for us overall, we just wished there were more beds, more toiletries on hand and a better set up for relaxing.

Short but sweet stay

Wonderful large home with three floors perfect for our stay! We gathered to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday and we were pleasantly surprised to find a five bedroom home so close. She lives 8 minutes away. We loved the downstairs bar/winery and spent a couple hours down there. They is a large screen projection tv but we couldn’t figure how to operate it. The kitchen has a nice feel to it with a counter and 3 stools. We used the oven but couldn’t get the convection bake to work. No biggie, bake worked just fine. The front room is expansive with plenty of places to sit but the set up is not as cozy as I’d like. The game room was tons of fun. Wish the basketball game score keeper was working properly for some hyped up competition. When we first arrived the temperature was set at 55*. A bit chilly for sure. We could not get the pilot light on the heater in the game room to light and that room total quite a while to warm up. We all slept well, loved the king beds, comfortable and lovely linens too. Room darkening curtains were a plus. One bedroom was downstairs on the basement level with a bathroom right outside the door. We had a great night and checkout was easy. It was spotless. This place really let us pack a lot of fun into your stay. We are so happy we found it for our overnight stay with family.
