We had 20 people for this year’s trip and the house was more than adequate for all of us. The wild horses came to visit almost every day! Great spot and will be booking again.
Wonderful spot for our four generations to spend time together. This home is clean, well equipped and steps from the beach. The pool and hot tub were amazing. We all had a great time, especially the three little ones ages 6,4 and 1.
The house was clean well kept up and perfect for us with the pool hot tub and baby pool. The temperatures were in the 90s but the air conditioning kept up fine.
Our stay at this property was wonderful! The views were amazing! The pool was great! The baby pool was fun for our little ones! Our group enjoyed the theater room! The beds were so comfortable! The large kitchen and dining area was perfect for family gatherings. The wild horses arrived several times during our stay! Great place for family!
Great time, awsome location. As we were leaving onw car got stuck on the beach, Drew Rozella, who does the maintenence for the house came to the rescue. What Good dude.
Perfect house for our stay in the Outer Banks. We had 10 couples, so each having their own attached bathroom was great. Plenty of space and dining area. We watched the sunrise every morning from the back deck and the sunset each night from the front deck. We pulled a trailer with all of our needs. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils, but if you need large pots and pans or a griddle, bring your own. Bring your own beach towels and beach chairs too. The wild horses were amazing and the fishing was good. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at this house for our vacation, and while the view is absolutely beautiful and truly one of the highlights of the stay, there were several things that we did not like and feel should be improved. The kitchen was not well equipped—there were not enough cooking utensils, which made it difficult to prepare meals. Additionally, there were a lot of flies, which made it uncomfortable at times. We also noticed that there was no toilet paper provided, so if you plan to stay here, make sure to bring your own. Another inconvenience was that there were no beach towels available.Another important thing to know is that if you do not have a 4x4 vehicle, do not even attempt to drive there. The access requires about 7.5 miles of pure sand, and you can easily get stuck. Also, keep in mind that the nearest store is a little over 30 minutes away, so it’s important to come fully prepared with everything you may need.Regarding the pool, we were unfortunately not able to enjoy it. It was not cleaned during our stay, and despite asking, the heater was not turned on for us.Overall, the location and view are amazing, but the lack of basic necessities, poor maintenance, and accessibility challenges took away from the experience.

Unfortunately Lidia booked a stay arriving in early April and she did not read the listing which states the Pool Season begins on April 25th. We cannot open the pool early as the service provider doe snot begin servicing the pool until the season opens. As the listing clearly states you do need a 4WD to access this property. While we are glad the guest enjoyed the views she would have had a better vacation if she took the time to read the details prior to reserving the home in the off season.

OBX vacation 2025
The house is large, very impressive and spacious. Pool alarm is very annoying every time you open a door on the first floor.Screens on sliders on first floor all came off.Pool and hot tub were filthy. No pool heat until Thursday as pool filter was plugged and had to be backwashed continuously. Hot tub leaked and had to add water continuously so we could use it. Thankfully we had a plumber with us. Not enough pots and pans for this house and number it accommodates. Host does not know a lot about his place. He travels so not always responsive.Management company not doing a good job on this rental. . The stay was excellent, how can you have a bad time in the Outer Banks.Would NOT rent this house again.
We found the house to be great. We all had a wonderful time.I would suggest that the outside bar patio chairs be replaced. We took the 2 in the downstairs outside because they were safer. We loved our stay here!
The place was clean, the cleaning crew was actually on their way out when we arrived and were so kind. They tried to help us bring in our stuff out of the rain. The host was so quick to send maintenance for any MINOR things that arose. There is plenty of room for our whole family, the theater room was a huge hit with the kids, and we even were able to play several card game tournaments and not be on top of each other. The fire pit was so nice at night when the wind made it a little chilly. It was a great time and the beach was great.
We had five families stay. It was the perfect amount of bedrooms, spacious & a lot to do in the house, the toddler pool was a great addition to the big kids pool. Wild horses came right up to the house almost every day it was perfect! We throughly enjoyed our stay.
The location of the property was great. On the beach with a private pool is ideal when you have kids.

The house is in a beautiful location! But it requires a 8 mile drive on the beach to get to it. We arrived at high tide so it was a pretty crazy drive! Wild horses every where on the beach along the way. It’s absolutely amazing! The house is great for large groups. Huge kitchen and plenty of seating makes it perfect. 12 bedrooms, 10 with en-suite bathroom was perfect. The pool was used everyday and the little ones loved the baby pool. My cons on the house were that there was absolutely no instructions for handling anything at the house. So we had to just figure stuff out. Communication with the host was horrible!! I messaged him several times before arriving with questions and always had to follow up to get a response. I messaged him the day we arrived with a bunch of questions and never got a response back. There was absolutely nothing in the house when we arrived. No toilet paper or paper towels. We had to immediately go back out to town to get some basic provisions. I find that odd and different than my rentals I have stayed in. We couldn’t figure out how to get the media room working and again no instructions could be found. All in all I would definitely go to Outer Banks again and Wild Horse Beach was amazing!!
