We have stayed here a couple of times and really love this special property. The view is incredible and we love to sit around the fire pit outside and look at it. Everything is really easy and the generous check in and checkout times keep us coming back - it's so nice to not feel rushed!
This was the second time our group stayed here and it did not disappoint. Stunning views and plenty of space made for a relaxing weekend getaway. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We had a couple questions early on and Michael was quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We can’t wait to stay again!
Beautiful home and property at the top of Palomar Mountain. Quiet yet full of nature. The frogs and birds were a special treat. I would absolutely stay here again.
This home was perfect for our annual family trip. The kids loved playing outside and exploring the property. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was very comfortable. The views are incredible! We will definitely stay here again.
Such a beautiful property with so much to do for all ages. Everyone wanted to stay longer! Really appreciated property manager’s prompt responsiveness to questions and made our stay unforgettable! Would rebook in a heartbeat!
What a lovely house and property. My group enjoyed walking the grounds, using the jacuzzi, and relaxing with our coffee on the deck early in the mornings of our two night stay. Apart from a couple of minor inconveniences, we highly recommend this property and many of the group expresses a desire to rent this property again in the future.
This home was perfect for our group. We loved the property and just spending time out on the deck. Michael was an incredibly gracious host and made things so smooth and easy. I would come back to this place without hesitation!
We got our family together for our annual stay. This is, by far, the best place we found to stay in several years. There’s lots of room, very clean, very well equipped. And we had quite a bit of snow left over from the week before so the kids had a lot of fun sledding. We never left the property during the four days we were there.
If you have a small church group this is the place to be. This is our second year and the owner Michael has been an awesome host. You have all you need here. We look forward to being here again next year
This property is amazing! Our group had 6 adults and 7 children, and everyone had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious with a lot of room to spread out. The backyard is huge. We were able to go sledding on the property which was a huge bonus. We definitely hope to visit again.
This place was perfect for our group. We enjoy spending time outside in nature and there were so many spots to enjoy the scenery, views, trees, pond and stream here. The views and the deck were breathtaking and so were the stars. Communication was great, we were provided with everything we needed and appreciated greatly the generous check in and checkout times. We hope we get the chance to return here! Truly a gem!
Very poor cell phone reception. Stunning views, large comfortable deck with a great fire pit and hot tub. Michael, our host was very accommodating and helpful.
Perfect place to get away with your friends and kids. There was so much to do in the house the boys had a blast. Wonderfully remote with an amazing view and relaxing jacuzzi on the deck. The place had all the kitchen accessories needed to make lovely meals and definitely enough space for all 16 of us. Would definitely return!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds are beautiful, with amazing views. The location is very private. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Teens enjoyed the spa, the ping pong table, and frisbee golf. The toaster oven should be replaced as you can’t read the controls because it is so old. We would love to come back.
The house and surroundings are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. However, a few items need to be corrected for the safety and comfort of future guests. There were substantial mouse droppings in the upper left cabinet over the stove. In fact, we had a furry visitor running through the living room during our last morning. The stair rail from the lower level was unsafe and one of our ladies almost fell. And some of the outlets in the bunk room were not working.
We have been doing an annual NYE trip for 11 years and this is our 3rd time here! It’s a beautiful property and the house has everything we need. In the past there has been snow so we took advantage of some of the hills. This year there wasn’t snow but that meant we could enjoy outside more and play yard games. We plan to stay here again!
