The Barn at Toad Hill. Pet friendly, close to Smokies, Airport. Brand new!
The Barn at Toad Hill is truly unique! It's a small barn (about 700 sf) that was moved into the property and completely remodeled. It has modern touches but keeps its rustic charm. The loft contains the bedroom. Downstairs you will find the living area, dining area, bathroom & kitchenette (please note...there is no stove/convection oven). There's a nice covered porch on the front. We are about 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville and about an hour from Gatlinburg. We are also a short drive from the airport. The property is NOT ran by a management company! We deal with everything personally so if you have any questions or problems you will be dealing directly with us. We hope you choose Toad Hill!

The Barn was a great place to stay while in Knoxville for a few days. The place itself is small but didn't feel that way, using the space economically while providing everything I needed for a long weekend and even a few things I didn't (washer/dryer)! The bedroom and bathroom were very well done, big & comfortable bed with a large smart TV upstairs and a sizeable walk-in shower alongside a tub-style sink (nice touch). The front porch was great for relaxing too, as the property sits on a hill overlooking part of the city in the distance. It was also sufficiently dog-friendly, with some space all around the property for my dogs to explore and a lightly-traveled road that dead ends a couple hundred yards down where they can be walked. The Barn is in a quiet, isolated area but still accessible to the city, probably 10-15 minutes away from downtown Knoxville. Great balance of privacy and access. Doug was a fantastic host, too, helped me get the keypad lock sorted out on my arrival and was responsive to messages throughout. Overall, The Barn was a great, relaxing and memorable spot I'd absolutely stay again if I'm in Knoxville. Thanks Doug!

This has been my absolute favorite rental I have had. The property owners are the coolest most friendly and supportive people. Doug and Cathy are fantastic and so helpful with everything. This is the first Vrbo I’ve rented where the hosts were very easy to get in touch with and very communicative. The entire place was very clean, the decorations were absolutely hilarious and just a perfect vibe! It had everything I needed when I came to visit my daughter at UTK! Very close to her sorority house, yet sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch, I could see the Smokey Mountains! Gave you a feeling of being far away but right in town. Easy to get to downtown Knoxville, or into Alcoa and Maryville. It’s at the end of a quiet dead end street. My little dog loved it, nice quiet walking street. I enjoyed watching airplanes flying into the airport but my most favorite part was the thunderstorm rain on the porch metal roof. The mountain version of listing to the ocean waves crash at the beach. The Barn at Toad Hill was fantastic!!!! The air conditioning worked very very well, and that shower in the bathroom, Absolutely beautiful!!! I want to book again!

It was a nice surprise to walk inside and it look like a cabin. It was very well done. All the decor was great. Very very nice
Unique pet friendly little barn. Decorated nicely, clean, conveniently located, well stocked with everything you need. Comfortable bed and cute little front porch.
Absolutely amazing weekend! The house was so cozy and relaxing, the property is gorgeous and quiet, and the porch is perfect for listening to the rain and enjoying the fireflies. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts, the Wilhites are the sweetest! Thank you so much!
This was such a wonderful stay at the barn! We were so sad to leave. It was better than we could have imagined. We would definitely stay again! Doug & Cathy were so kind and accommodating! The detail that has been put into this barn is truly remarkable..inside and out. WHEN you choose this home away from home take a good look around. The details will surly entertain..the view is beautiful day and night. We had a toddler and a dog with us and it was more than enough room for them to play. Heat and ac work great. Huge stand up shower and theres a heater in the bathroom..its a dream! Easy to get to, lots of stores close by,

The neighborhood was quiet which is a huge plus for me. The house was clean (the shower and bathroom area were beautiful) and the bed was super comfy. Everything was adequately described in the booking as it was when I arrived. Communication with host was timely and respectful. Host was absolutely amazing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Recently renovated and charming, the barn is perfectly situated close to great restaurants, the airport, and downtown Knoxville. Beautifully decorated and fully furnished, it features a king-size bed, a washer and dryer, a lovely front deck for relaxing, and an outdoor grill. Thoughtful touches, like his and hers terrycloth embroidered bathrobes, add to the comfort.
Doug and Cindy, my hosts, were exceptionally friendly, easy to reach, and wonderfully accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable
We had an absolutely amazing time at this property. It was in the perfect location, for us, to the city. And it was such a lovely property with amazing hosts. We definitely be staying here again when we visit! My pup even had a great time exploring the property. It was her first trip and she was comfortable/ happy. Thank you again Doug for your hospitality and tour! I have never had a host do that for me before. We loved your place!!☺️

A comfy, convenient basecamp with lots of character and just right amenities. I came into town for a Bronco Off-Roadeo event in Maryville, and surrounding visits to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Knoxville. Set in a small residential neighborhood with large greenbelt lots and near the airport and highways, noise wasn't an issue with heating/air systems, nice touches like coffee and snacks, spa-like bathroom and robes, king bed, peekaboo views, and a responsive property owner. Enjoy!
