Experience lakefront living on West Lake Okoboji, known for the cleanest and clearest water in the Iowa Great Lakes. This private lakefront home offers 62 feet of shoreline, a private dock, and boat hoist in a peaceful setting just minutes from Arnolds Park Amusement Park.

Located on the southeast side of West Lake, the home faces west, giving you beautiful sunset views from the living room, deck, or dock.

Ideal for extended summer stays or relaxing getaways, this home offers direct lake access with a private dock and 5,000 lb boat hoist, perfect for outboard and inboard/outboard (stern drive) boats. (Not compatible with inboard or wake boats.) Swim from the dock or unwind by the water. A set of approximately 40 steps leads down to the lake, offering elevated views along the way.

Inside, the home blends classic lake cottage charm with thoughtful updates completed in 2024, including fresh paint, new carpet, and updated furnishings. Large windows in the main living area and master bedroom bring in natural light and showcase lake views.

The spacious layout is designed for comfort and gathering. The large kitchen features a 6-burner gas stove and plenty of prep space, while the great room provides a comfortable place to relax. A pool table adds additional entertainment for evenings.

We had a fantastic five-week stay this summer at this beautiful home in Okoboji. The location was ideal—just a short walk to both Arnold’s Park amusement park and Taco House, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peaceful lakefront sunsets every evening.The house itself was perfect for our family. With four functional bedrooms, including a spacious primary bedroom with stunning lake views, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. One of the bedrooms was especially large and had three closets, which worked perfectly for our three young daughters. The kitchen and living room were comfortable and great for relaxing or sharing meals, and the pantry was a nice bonus for a longer stay. The laundry area was conveniently located near the bedrooms, which made everything easy.Swimming off the end of the dock was a highlight for the kids, and the boat hoist was much appreciated. The air conditioning kept us cool on those hot Iowa days, and the three-car garage gave us plenty of space for our vehicle and bikes.Kristin and Cory were wonderful hosts—accommodating, generous, and always responsive. This was truly a fabulous place for a family gathering at the lake, and we’re grateful for the memories we made here.Highly recommend!

It's rare to find a property on West Lake Okoboji with a private dock and hoist, and sunset views! While the construction itself isn't new, it sports fresh paint, new carpet and brand new furnishings throughout (May 2024).
