We stayed here twice for work and the place is amazing so comfortable and relaxing and the view was spectacular. Would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the Seattle area close to everything. Also recommend to anyone local as it is a great place for a staycation.

Amazing Views and Convenient Location

Surprising cozy comfort in West Seattle. Goal was a different view/wander around greater Seattle and we hit the mark. Alki Beach provided fun times, tasty treats and a walk along the water. Back at the house each evening the patio provided a view worth toasting!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this property. Communication and check-in were seamless, and the hosts, Terry and Glen, were incredibly responsive and accommodating to our special situation.The house was exactly as described—if not better! The views are spectacular, with stunning sights of downtown Seattle, the waterfront, and even Mt. Rainier on clear days. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of places to sit to talk, read or watch TV. The location couldn’t be better. Located in West Seattle, 15 minutes from the airport and about 15 minutes to downtown Seattle. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful home in a prime location with exceptional hosts.

Absolutely perfect for our party of 7. Hosts were extremely helpful and made sure everything was perfect. The views from the patio and master bedroom were incredible. We found ourselves spending much of our free time watching the city and Mount Rainier from the patio. We even saw fireworks after the Mariners game! :)Highly recommend!

Our host was very welcoming and great at communicating with us. The home is beautifully decorated with fabulous views. We enjoyed the comfortable furnishings and spacious rooms. The soaking tub is huge- sadly we didn’t have a chance to use it. The kitchen was functional and well equipped. We made a lot of meals at home. The cupboard doors. are showing signs of wear. Location was great - easy access to the West Seattle bridge made it a quick trip to downtown attractions. We used Uber to go to a few events without any issues. I would recommend this home for a great stay in West Seattle.

We’ve been steadily working through our maintenance and improvement list to keep the home comfortable and welcoming for our guests. Over the past two years, we’ve completed quite a few updates — including painting, a new roof, a new washer and dryer, and several other improvements. Last year, we added new furniture, a BBQ, a fence, a stove, and updated the bedding. We always prioritize upgrades that have the biggest impact on the guest experience, which is why we’ve focused on items that guests use and interact with every day. The cupboards are high-quality cherry wood and still function very well, so we chose to address more urgent and tangible updates first. That said, we do plan to have the cupboards repainted or refinished, hopefully next year. Thank you again for your comments — they help us continue making the home the best it can be for all our guests! Terry

Called City View for it's amazing views of the mountains harbor and the city. The views and location to the city, beaches and mountains make this property stand out.. Water Taxi to the city, Scuba, kayak, paddle board off the beach, cycle, skateboard, and other activities just 5 minutes away at Alki Beach... Or just 8 minutes to downtown to local award winning restaurants, theatre and sports.

What makes this property unique

We are 8 minutes to the City and Stadiums by car. Or 10 to 20 minutes by bus to downtown or the Space Needle, 5 minutes to Alki beach. Take the wagon, chairs and towels and head down to the beach. Sit back at the local pub and have a cold one with the beach in front of you, the mountains to the left and a view of the city to your right. Absolutely stunning views from everywhere you go on the peninsula of West Seattle.
