Newly renovated hillside home has vineyard, mountain and valley views throughout. The Master Bedroom looks out over the Valley of the Moon with access to a rooftop garden and hot tub where you can soak in vineyard views. Located between the Sonoma Plaza and Glen Ellen the property provides close proximity to the best restaurants and activities that Sonoma county has to offer. This newly renovated hillside home his situated on three levels and decorated throughout with all new contemporary furnishings. At the center of it all is a courtyard with outdoor fire pit and sliding glass wall that opens up the dining/living area.

A Modern Sonoma offers a full gourmet kitchen with built in BBQ right off the dining and living areas. The lower level features 3 Bedrooms (two with queen size beds and a Jack & Jill bathroom,and the third can be used as a media/game room or a bedroom with a queen bed. There is an additional full bathroom across from the media/bedroom.

Modern Sonoma

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. There were six of us in town for a wedding. The house was fantastic - clean, comfortable, great wifi and tv, fantastic views and everything one could possibly need for a great stay. Loved it!

Weekend celebration in California

Ideal property for our long weekend visiting Napa and Sonoma. Comfortable accommodations for all of us (only 5). Very well furnished and tech ready. Owner has done an excellent job of providing notes regarding all the features in the house.

Perfect 50th Birthday trip

Gorgeous home on a secluded street with breathtaking balcony views. Home and bedrooms exactly as described with fun accents and amenities. Plenty of outdoor seating in multiple locations. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with all the basics. Would definitely recommend this property and use again on our next trip out to Sonoma.

Modern Sonoma is Fantastic

Our stay at Modern Sonoma was absolutely fantastic! We had seven adults and the home was perfect for us. The home itself was very nicely laid out and the amenities were plentiful!! The home was very accommodating as we were able to grill out our first night with a great sit down dinner!! We were also able to enjoy each others company in the evening sitting out on the back patio or the courtyard with the firepit going. Also, the ladies loved their relaxation while in the hot tub! I would definitely recommend this home for anyone staying in Sonoma!

Wine country visit

We stayed at the house with 2 other couples. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. Kim was wonderful in reaching out to us prior to the visit. The location was perfect for anything in Sonoma. The drive to Napa wineries was 30-40 minutes.

Amazing property, amazing location.

We came to Sonoma from the east coast to attend a wedding. The house was perfect for our party of 6. We all had enough individual space to relax, the common areas were very inviting, and the all of the outdoor spaces provided great opportunities for relaxation. The views were great and made you feel like you were in the country...and yet we were only minutes from Sonoma square. The house was very well appointed and had everything we needed - ample towels, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds and bedding, and beautiful decor. The house really rounded out what was already a joyful weekend.

Sonoma Sizzler

The home was decorated beautiful with all the amenities except an air-condition that was big enough for the house. Understanding we have no control of the weather, we wanted to come inside the house to cool off and it was NOT possible. At times in interior temps reached 86 degrees with the doors open and 88 with the doors closed. Our main goal was to leave the house in the AM and return home for dinner to cook in the amazing kitchen however, we had to eat out each night since the heat was unbearable (without the oven on) and stay out of the house as late as possible. At least after midnight each night the temps dropped to where sleep was bearable. I called Kim numerous times and I was told that they needed another AC unit that was large enough to cool the house which was no help to me! The shower upstairs was so hot for the sun that the liquid soap burned my skin!!!!!! Also, the downstairs bathroom did not have working lights and after a call to Kim she told me that it was a big job and the electrician needed a few days so You can put your makeup on in another room......????? The fire alarms went off 2 nights in a row and Kim had the electrician disconnect them. At $800 a night it was not worth it. Pretty Disappointing! Thank goodness Sonoma had wonderful wineries to keep us busy during the day. The 60 mile trip to San Francisco was a beautiful ride. A must visit is RAMS Gate winery outside the Sonoma raceway. :) Glad to get home to the AC in Florida.

This beautiful home is nested in Sonoma Valley with a picturesque overlook, plus tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance which was a plus. Rooms were comfortable for 4 couples and kitchen was well stocked with supplies for entertaining and cooking. Would 100% be back!

We stayed for a 3 day weekend to visit Napa And this house was truly amazing . We use VRBO all the time and this is my most Favorite House !! The house is beautiful and fully stocked . Everything thing is labeled and stocked with plenty of towels and anything you would need !! The views from the house were gorgeous and I would definitely love to stay in this house again !

Sonoma County’s mild climate and breathtaking landscape make it an ideal location for experiencing the outdoors from Redwood forest hikes in Armstrong Grove, coastal kayaking at Bodega Bay, or picturesque bike rides through the Valley of the Moon. There are many activities beyond the obvious ones. Want to see the big picture? Soar above the valley in a vintage bi-plane at the Sonoma Valley Airport. Do you have an urge to get behind the wheel of a racecar, try the world class Sonoma Raceway?
If you are not an adrenalin junky maybe an educational vineyard tour is more your speed. There is no lack of options when is comes to wine and food. You could consider a cooking or even cheese making class if that is how you want to expand your horizons? But if the big view is what you are looking for, hikers will appreciate the many trails up into the hills where you are rewarded with spectacular views all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge.
