House was accurate to the listing. Kitchen needs plastic dinnerware and serving bowls for eating outside. We enclosed our stay.

Everything was perfect for our 5 day stay. We had our son and daughter in law and two teenage girls with us. All had a great time and the property was equipped to keep everyone entertained. The pool, hot tub, firepit and game room were all utilized! The interior space was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Thank you!

Great spot close to the park and town if you want to get something out to eat (Sky High Pizza is great!). The pool, hot tub, dome lounge and game room garage make for fun entertaining. My kids loved that the house was stocked with lots of games. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen was well stocked for cooking at the house. The owners are super responsive and helped me trouble shoot our hot tub difficulties right away. And the firepit makes for a perfect s’more spot. Overall great place for a family to stay
My girls loved the dome for chilling

Comfortable and cozy house, very clean. There were no overscented cleansers or sprays used which was great for me so I didn't have to deal with allergies. The kitchen was easy to navigate because everything was labeled. The weather was colder than expected and there were extra lap blankets available which was nice. Living room was very welcoming for all 5 of us. And there was even a little doggy bed! The backyard was fenced in and there was plenty of sitting areas including a dining area, lounges, seats around the fire-pit and chairs. Overall was a great experience and it was as if every potential need was anticipated by the host!

Response from Desert Heart | Stargazing Dome | Pool | Spa on 30 October 2026
Thank you so much for such a kind review, Faye. I’m delighted that the lack of strong scents kept your allergies at bay and that the labeled kitchen made cooking easy. It also makes me happy that Desert Heart felt welcoming for all five of you, with the lap blankets on a chilly weekend and a little bed for the dog. You would be so welcome back at Desert Heart anytime.

The home was just as described. And it was so well stocked! The layout of this home is really nice, easy for us to all be together. My Grandson had fun with the pool table. We enjoyed the hot tub and made smores on the outside fireplace. Centrally located to everything in Joshua Tree. Many good restaurants there. We also enjoyed hiking the park. Owners were very helpful and responsive.
