Let the sunshine in at this GREAT renovated Turnberry loft unit in Palmetto Dunes. The two bedroom, two bath popular Award-Winning Turnberry corner loft unit has high ceilings and many windows to provide a light and bright villa. Situated just minutes from the popular Palmetto Dunes beach, the villa has a great lagoon to minimum golf view by the 10th and 18th holes on the George Fazio course. Enjoy the sound of the water fountain as you sit on the deck. Nicely updated and well-appointed unit. The kitchen and bathrooms have granite counters, tile flooring, glass shower doors, and new cabinets. The two-story floor plan provides privacy, and with the added convertible sofas in the loft and living area, this villa will sleep up to 6 people comfortably. LED TVs in both bedrooms, loft, and the living room. Cable boxes on Living Room and Master Bedroom TVs. Smart TVs with cable channel access in second bedroom and loft. High-speed wireless Internet service included. The loft area has its own LED TV, which you can enjoy watching while sitting on the sleeper sofa or when the sofa is opened as a queen bed. Washer and dryer located in a closed area of the kitchen. Gas grill located on the deck for guests to enjoy and feel like they are experiencing the comforts of home.

Turnberry is located within the Palmetto Dunes, which is a gated community ideally situated on Hilton Head Island. Quiet and peaceful, it is close to EVERYTHING -- beach, restaurants, tennis courts, marinas, and shopping. The Turnberry community has an exceptional private pool and clubhouse and a private playground. There are bike and jogging trails throughout Palmetto Dunes and miles and miles of lagoons for kayaking or fishing. Palmetto Dunes has been named as a #1 Resort Destination by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

Another great visit

This was our second stay at the villa and we were glad to be back in such a peaceful little community. We love that we could bike everywhere and the proximity to shopping and restaurants. Quick ride over to the beach and a few steps to the pool. The villa had just about everything you would need for a great stay. Hope to return again next year!

Located in Palmetto Dunes, and with close beach access, this quiet and comfortable townhome met the needs for my wife and I while staying for a conference at the local Marriott Resort.

The house has a wonderful layout in a very nice community. It felt welcoming and gave us the sense of staying in a real home rather than a generic rental. While the decoration is somewhat dated and the showers could use some improvement, the overall space was comfortable and enjoyable. There was a bit of dust here and there, but nothing major. For the price point, we found it to be great value and truly appreciated the experience.

Great vacation stay

We have stayed in Palmetto Dunes several times and I think this may be our favorite place so far. It was very cozy and private. The villa had plenty of space and everything to make it feel like a home away from home. Easy bike ride to the beach and shopping center, and the pool was right across the way. We even saw the alligator who lives out back. Would love to stay here again!

Great Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karen and Steve’s place! The townhome itself was lovely and had all the necessities you need. It’s close to grocery stores and other island activities, plus Palmetto Dunes is a great community in general. If you’re bringing lots of stuff for the beach, I would suggest a bike with a trailer or driving over to the beach access just so you don’t have to carry everything while walking. It was a short trip, and there was always parking! We enjoyed sitting on the back deck overlooking the lagoon, as well as hanging out by the pool post beach time. Overall really great stay!! Karen and Steve were extremely responsive and helpful when needed. We all agreed we would definitely stay there again!

Great location for golf and beaches

Overall a very good place to stay. The condo was clean and in the far edge of Palmetto Dunes. The pool was clean and private (not crowded). It was a short drive to the beaches and shopping. In this heat I would not recommend walking to the beach. There was a free shuttle to the beach as well. If I had one suggestion for improvement, please get some new or sharper knives. The sleeper sofa mattress needs replacing but was okay for a kid to sleep on. Steve and Karen were very responsive and great to work with.

Wonderful vacation!

We had a fantastic time in this condo! It was beautiful—clean and spacious and perfect for our family of 5. The family room was cozy and comfortable for movie nights and game nights, and the kitchen and dining area were new and perfect for family dinners. The neighborhood was gorgeous. Right across from the pool, corn hole and horseshoes right across the street too. We loved sitting on the deck by the lagoon in the morning. Palmetto Dunes is centrally located, and the condo is an easy bike ride to the beach. When we drove to the beach, there was always parking in the Disney Beach House lot. The owners were fantastic—very responsive and helpful! We would definitely rent this condo again—we had a wonderful time!

Serene Slice of Paradise!

If you're looking for a serene slice of paradise in Hilton Head Island, this is the place to stay! Steve and Karen's Villa was exactly as described, stocked with all the comforts of home in a tranquil, picturesque area of Palmetto Dunes. Well kept and very clean. Our family of 5 (2 parents, 2 teens, and a 20 something") appreciated all the space to spread out. The a/c was nice and cold which was appreciated during the hot, sticky August temps. Turnberry was quiet and lovely with a beautiful large pool. Questions were addressed immediately and Steve and Karen were a pleasure to deal with. This was our 4th visit to HHI, but our first stay in this villa. Needless to say, we've found our new favorite! Thanks for your hospitality!

Beautiful property, quiet location!

We had a great stay as a family! Steve and Karen have everything organized so well, starting long before you arrive. They provided a helpful document that let us know what to expect when we arrived, as well as many great ideas of things to do at the resort and in HHI. The villa was very well stocked and we had everything we needed. The layout was perfect for our family of four. The location of the villa seemed pretty deep into the resort, which was nice in that it was very quiet. But plan on a long trek if you're walking to the beach. We really enjoyed the biking to the beach and around the resort, but keep in mind that it gets pretty dark on the sidewalks/streets near Turnberry at night. We enjoyed checking the pond behind the villa each day for wildlife and were lucky to spot a mother gator and her three babies during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and the property was lovely.

Perfect Experience

This beautiful property is located in Palmetto Dunes. There is great beach access at the Disney Resort clubhouse with ample parking, clean restrooms​, and an easy path to the beach for your wagon. The home is spacious and well equipped with great anticipation of what may be needed. The furniture is comfortable, with plenty of space on both floors. The loft area is especially useful with a desk in case you need to set up your laptop for work. The king bed is comfortable, the linens are premium grade. There are so many personal touches that make this so much more than just a vacation rental. Climate control was perfect; the ability to sit on the private deck and listen to the water fountains was nice. The pool and playground area is just a few steps out of your door. Steve and Karen were great hosts, very attentive to every request with quick positive responses. We could not have hoped for a better experience, and we hope to return on many occasions.

We had the best time in your villa! It was perfect! Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans and dishes. The beds were comfortable. We really loved being right across from the beautiful pool. Our days consisted of morning bike rides, then to the beach, cooling off in the pool, grilling dinner, then riding our bikes to the general store for ice cream! We had a problem with a fuse blowing and the owners responded in less than 5 min to help us solve the problem—Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

This was a great location! We enjoyed being so close to the pool. The location and convenience to the beach we loved . We started coming to Hilton Head in 2009 and found Palmetto Dunes to be our perfect vacation spot. We enjoyed it so much, we purchased this amazing Turnberrry unit this year. Our children are so happy that we have a home away from home at the Turnberry Villas. We are looking forward to many years of fun and relaxation and want to share with others.

Why they chose this property

Close enough to the beach to walk, bike ride, or drive, the Turnberry Villas offer beautiful surroundings and a quiet atmostphere when you want to just relax. It is a villa unit with only one side attached to another unit. A different experience than the multi-story condo experience. We like experiencing the wildlife, the views of the lagoon with water fountain, and very limited golf views without being in harms way.

What makes this property unique

Quiet and peaceful when you are in the villa, while still having the pool and children's playground just steps away. Jog, bike ride, or simply walk around the complex or to the beach and general store. The wildlife is amazing. This is the perfect place to create beautiful memories.
