I cannot say enough about our hostess, Phyllis. She was wonderful. The cabin was beautiful and well appointed, and Abingdon was a lovely town. We highly recommend the VA Creeper Trail for a great bike ride and visiting the Farmers Market on Saturdays.

We loved staying at the cabin in the woods. It was perfectly located between Abingdon and Damascus and served as a great jumping off point for our travels. Phyllis and David were incredibly kind and welcoming. David provided us with a s'mores roasting stick and kindling for the fireplace on the back deck, where we enjoyed two nights relaxing by the fire. Our nine-year-old loved their dog Bennie and overall it was a perfect stay.

BEYOND FABULOUS STAY! We chose this very special cabin for our yearly "friends' weekend" and could not have been more pleased! It had EVERYTHING we needed and more. So close to town - and yet tucked away in peace and serenity. The best part about our experience was Phyllis and Dave! They went out of their way to make our stay extra special in more ways than one. Should you have the opportunity to stay here, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Cabin Weekend

Everything about this Cabin is 5 Stars. We absolutely loved it, and our host / owners Phyllis and David treated us more like family than guest! Can't wait to go back, I highly recommend this property for a getaway.

Fantastic getaway

We loved our stay at the cabin. From front porch sitting, Benny the dog, rain on the tin roof, Creeper Trail close by and Phyllis and David's hospitality, it was a great weekend.

Perfect place on a mountain surrounded by trees and nature. Benny the dog and another female black lab came by to visit. It was so quiet and peaceful. I’d definitely stay again if I go back to Abingdon.
