Immaculate 3 Bedroom Home On Barren River Lake With Access To The Lake & WiFi!

Your home away from home at the lake! This sweet and stylish 3 bedroom 2 bath home is ready and waiting for your fun loving group to take up residence! Every inch of this home was made with entertaining and comfort in mind. The main floor boasts comfortable leather couches and a recliner, and a flat screen tv with dvd player, so you can put your feet up and relax after a long and exhausting day of lakeside fun. The full kitchen is fully equipped to satisfy all your culinary needs, and has easy access to the upper level of the deck and the BBQ grill and outdoor living space.

Downstairs you will find the man-cave/game room! The perfect place to play cards or any of the family friendly games we have left for your enjoyment! There is also a bar area for entertaining the adult members of your party, and a cozy corner to curl up with a good book or a bit of bourbon. The game room area also has direct access to the lower level of the patio area, with ceiling fans, a sweet little swinging bench, and horseshoe pits!

The three bedrooms consist of a master bedroom with a Queen size bed, a second bedroom with a Full size bed, and a third bedroom downstairs with two twin beds. Both bathrooms feature full size tubs with showers. We also have laundry facilities for you to use on site, and free fiber optic WiFi in case you need to check in with the rest of the world from time to time.

There are no pets allowed at this property.

Please keep in mind that properties on the lake are on small septic systems. When we say this property is suitable for 6 people, that is the maximum number of people the septic system can handle and the maximum occupancy. Please do not plan large gatherings.

This is our 3rd stay in this beautiful home. Everything was great (washer wasn't working, but we were advised in advance, so it wasn't a big inconvenience.) There is a part of the kitchen floor that has become warped and this occurred since our last stay - but it isn't a big issue.

Flood fishing trip

Awesome place to stay at Barren River Lake

Everything about this home was excellent. The home itself is just beautiful and the location was great for us. The communication with the property manager was smooth, and she was very responsive. We really appreciated that we didn't have to supply our own bedding or towels, and the house had absolutely everything that we needed. We hope to be able to stay here again when we come back to KY next year.

We once again had a great stay in the well-appointed, beautiful home. Very comfortable with all of our needs met, with one exception - the Wi-Fi service was very spotty and we had difficulty getting a connection at times. Otherwise, everything was perfect - thank you!!

Quiet Allegiance Scenic Views

Quiet Allegiance Scenic Views This overview of "quiet allegiance scenic views" truly lives up to the way we felt staying at this rental! The 3-bedroom home offers breathtaking views of of nature, a short distance from the lake, which we enjoyed. We also savored coffee on the spacious wooden deck. The deck was furnished with comfortable lounge chairs and a dining table, perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. The interior was beautifully decorated in fruniture that appeared both formal and cozy with plush seating in the living room. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed to cook, including a pod coffeemaker, spices, salt, pepper, all dishes, utensil, pots and pans you'd need. We were especially impressed by the abundance of soft, fluffy towels – a luxurious touch! We spent part of our days shopping in Glasgow. In the evenings, we relaxed on the deck, enjoying the peaceful ambiance. This property provided the perfect escape from the everyday, and we can't wait to return!

Misleading Photos/Maintenance Needed

This property needs a bit of TLC. Outdoor areas were not maintained, furniture weathered/worn. The lake slip was non-existent because the water level of the lake was so low. The photo of the lake view/slip was misleading and should be removed from the listing. The house has many spaces with cobwebs/dead bugs on steps and in corners. Many small things in the house were not repaired (towel & paper towel bars). The interior is accurately pictured. If you're planning to "hang at the lake" this property does not allow for that unless you drive to another location. The distance to Mammoth Cave is about a 45 minutes drive. Also, the street this home is located on has several other tired looking homes. One street over is a very nice lake view street that you can walk to. The benefit to this home is affordability. If you're on a tight budget it'll do.

The pictures in this listing are spot on. Everything is as shown. This is a reasonable drive to both Cave City and Bowling Green and has the added attraction of being very near the lake. Keep in mind, it is not directly on the lake but rather in a wooded area that is close to the state park beach and boat ramps. Maya has a great guest information book put together with maps of the surrounding area and attractions. The only thing we had a hard time locating was the boat dock. The lake is very low and the dock could not have been used as such but we just wanted to go down and look. The things that keep me from rating this place five stars: The lock box for entry is a bit difficult to open and should be replaced. There were not enough paper towels or toilet tissue to get us through our 3-night stay. (2 adults, 2 children) Some of the battery operated things, like one of the TV remotes and a clock, needed batteries replaced. The two adults took showers back to back and the second shower was only warm, not hot. The ice cube maker was working but the dispenser was not. It was blocked with solid ice. The gas grill igniter was not working. The grill has seen better days and probably should be replaced. We decided against using it. Despite those inconveniences, I still plan on sharing the listing with a friend who is interested in visiting the area in the summer. Nice place for a family or two couples.
