We booked this place as a way for our whole family to stay for our wedding. The place is large and has all the amenities that are needed. Brian was responsive when we had a question. It was easy to check in and out. Everyone who stayed commented on the lovely views.

We had such an awesome time at this unique property. With 14 middle school kids and two teachers, there was plenty of space and boatloads to do. We enjoyed making food together, doing yoga on the deck, reading late at night, and watching the moon over Grandfather Mtn. The property had so many hang out spots, comfy beds for kids, games to play, and outdoor areas to explore. We cannot wait to be back!

We had a wonderful stay here! Plenty of room and the home was clean! Brian was responsive with 1 issue and it was resolved quickly. I would recommend staying here. Location is great, without a long windy mountain road to your stay!

Great Weekend Stay

We had a great stay at the castle with 12 adults and 3 kids. The house has beautiful views and was recently updated. The house had everything we needed and you can’t beat waking up to the mountain air! I would recommend this house, and will look to return soon.

Secluded, yet close to everything

The house is spacious, well-equipped, and has a great view. Everything was clean and organized and we had a great Thanksgiving break. Although the house feels secluded on top of a small hill, it is close to all Banner Elk’s attractions and Blowing Rock. I would definitely stay there again

Brian and his team provided prompt communication to our questions and needs. The house was clean and extremely comfortable, with multiple places to hang out with family. The two kitchens made the mornings easy. The best part of this house was the back decks and the hot tub with spectacular views! Amazing! We will definitely rent again in the future.

This house is awesome!! 8 sets of moms and sons celebrating the end of middle school and we could not have asked for a better place. Beautiful views, tons of space and Brian was very responsive and gracious with all of our questions. This house has everything you need.
