Hello! We’re Bobbie and Harold Jackson, lifelong Alaskans with a deep connection to the land. Bobbie was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and in 1959, her family moved to the Soldotna Family Homestead, where our beloved “Peaceful Acres” Cabins & Jackson Gardens Alaska are now located. Harold, originally from Arizona, made his way to Alaska in 1961, and together, we've built a life steeped in the beauty and bounty of the Kenai Peninsula.
Our Peaceful Acres Cabins and Apartment are nestled on 10 acres of flourishing fruit, vegetable, and flower gardens, making them a true haven in Soldotna, Alaska. What sets our property apart is the vibrant, organic farming we practice right here on-site. If you're passionate about sustainable agriculture or just curious to learn more, we invite you to visit our Jackson Gardens Alaska website where you can delve deeper into our farming methods and philosophy.
In 2024, we decided to open our on-site cabins and apartment for short-term rentals, welcoming guests to experience the tranquility and natural beauty we’ve cherished for decades. Our website Peaceful Acres Cabins is where you can explore our story further, see photos of our facilities, and get a sense of what makes Peaceful Acres so special.
As true Alaskans, we’re excited to share our little slice of paradise with you. Whether you're here to enjoy the serene surroundings, explore our U-Pick farm, or simply relax, we’re here to make your stay unforgettable. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us anytime—day or night—with any questions or to book your stay. We’re available 24/7 and can’t wait to welcome you to Peaceful Acres!
