This little remote cabin is everything you could hope for in a getaway to nature! Hammocks, firepit, screened porch with rockers, woods, water access, and all the necessities inside for comfort, cooking, cooling off, and relaxing! My kids loved it here and we will definitely be making this cabin a part of our yearly vacations.
It's an incredibly relaxing place. Everything from the setting in the woods to the decor and accommodations of the host was perfect for this get-away trip. Pam was responsive and went out of her to assist us when we struggled with finding the location. Our only regret was not booking for a longer stay! Highly recommend this host & the Buckeye cabin.
The cabin was very clean, host was quick to respond to any questions. The cabin and location was amazing for our small family to get away for a weekend of fun fishing, sight seeing, playing at crater of diamonds state park and spending much needed quality time together!
This was such a beautiful place. Truly a slice of heaven. They have perfected peace and relaxation, I look forward to returning and enjoying another beautiful weekend here. The hammocks held the kids hostage and I wasn’t mad about it! We had lots of storms, and while you might thing that’s the last thing you want on your mini vacay, in this cabin, it was everything and more!!
The cabin was lit up and welcoming when we pulled in just before dark. We only stayed one night and left early the next morning to try our luck at digging for diamonds at the state park, so we weren't there long enough to fully relax and take advantage of this woodland retreat. The kids had fun walking down to the river to try to catch fish. We were able to slow charge our EV at a power outlet on the electrical pole in front of the cabin, which helped us get to our next stop the next day. The owner was communicative and sent a helpful map. The cabin was great and was just as it appeared on the listing.
Secluded with starry skies and quiet- just what was needed! Internet is available (though why would you need it?!) and a large t.v. but the front porch and fire ring beckon you to unplug. The host had great communication and answered questions quickly. Not far from downtown Murfreesboro which has a few shops, small grocery store and friendly people.
Cabin was in a nice location; seto mail them to us.cluded but still close enough to town and Crater of Diamonds. Very peaceful with all the amenities. Host (Pam) was quick to respond to questions and went above and beyond what was expected. We placed our dirty close in a trash bag and realized after we got home that we accidentally threw them in the trash. Pam was able to retrieve them and went out of her way to mail them to us, which was much appriciated. FOOD FOR THOUGHT: DON'T PUT DIRTY CLOTHES IN A TRASH BAG. LOL
