Our property is located about a mile east of the Castle Rock County Park. We are about 20 miles north of Wisconsin Dells, 8 to Northern Bay Golf, 12 to Roch-A-Cri State Park. Steps from a public Wisconsin natural area. Handicap accessible.

Minimum stay is flexible. Excellent location! Large, spacious, 'cabin like' home on 10 wooded acres to play and roam. Sleeps 18 in beds comfortably with additional sofa options. Three full baths. Wildlife outside 3 large patio doors. Large attached furnished deck with fire pit. Firewood bundles available for purchase on site. Additional fallen wood can be gathered on site. Kitchen fully stocked with dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, cookware and crock pots. Cabin is stocked with many games, poker chips, volleyball net, sand and yard toys. Washer and dryer, bed linens and kitchen towels are provided. Bath and beach towels are NOT provided to reduce laundry needs. Please remember to bring those with you.

Launch your boat nearby and spend the day on Castle Rock Lake swimming, waterskiing or fishing. The lake has many restaurants/pubs with public piers to park your boat, live outdoor music during the day and beach volleyball. Jet skis, pontoon boats available for rent from nearby Big Papa's Pontoon Rentals. Enjoy the playground or sandy beach at the nearby park (with public boat launch) Take a day trip to Wisconsin Dells. Play 9 or 18 holes at the renowned Northern Bay Golf Course. Close access to ATV routes and snowmobile trails. Have dinner in a crock pot waiting for when you return or fire up the camp style charcoal grill. Then spend the evening playing games on the large indoor and outdoor tables and roast marshmallows over the fire pit.

Many state parks and natural areas to enjoy hiking and walking trails. The Dells offer just about everything including water parks and bungee jumping.

Interior has maple cabinetry, hardwood and tile flooring, pine car-siding and trim, stone surround fire place with electric insert. Mosquito free attached porch for gatherings inside with an outside feel. Porch has additional dining table and chairs. Great value for the sleeping accommodations with all the comforts of home. Base nightly rate is for up to twelve people. Additional guests are $10 per nights per person. All pets are $20 per night per pet. Furniture, beds and amenities may not be exactly as pictures as things are constantly being updated. WIFI included with You Tube Tv streaming service.

Prior to departure all guest are asked to remove all used bed linens and begin washing and drying as many as possible, remove all trash and recyclables and place in the correct bins outside. Return cleaned dishes and all items to their location upon arrival.

Spacious property inside and out. Our group was there for 4 nights and enjoyed the quiet, wooded property with plenty of parking and interior spaces to spread out when needed. The house was clean, the kitchen was very well-stocked. The ice-maker did not work, but ice cube trays were provided. Be aware that you must bring your own towels and Kleenex. I would recommend this property for your large gathering.

The location was perfect for our family Christmas with everyone coming from different areas. The property is very close to a nature area that we were able to cross country ski and walk too. Amazing Property!

Our Nonprofit Group has rented this location twice this year and both times we have enjoyed it! The house is great and has everything you’d need, the surrounding woods are beautiful and filled with wildlife that we saw regularly. Definitely recommend and we intend on coming back!

We liked the county park which was close and well maintained. Spent a lot of times in the Dells (25min.away) Noahs Ark, Dells boat tours, and walking the strip. Also, Knuckle Heads bowling and arcade and the outlet mall next door when the weather looked rainy.

Family girls weekend

Visited for a girls weekend my sisters and cousins and aunts. Listing was great for a larger group like we had. Everything on the posting was accurate. Excellent trip

We had a great time here with a swim team of 10 plus coaches. There is a ton of space to spread out and sleep too. We hit up Noah’s Ark and the Dells plus tubed down the river. Had a great fire and played some volleyball on their net as well.

We are lifelong Wisconsin natives and know this area very well having vacationed here our entire lives. Growing up on a farm, our vacation destination needed to be close by. After marrying and having children we again chose to keep our vacation home close. Our children have graduated college and reside in the Midwest region. Although we all enjoy meeting up at our central Wisconsin "cabin," we also love to explore other areas and vacation throughout the country. Listing our cabin has allowed us to do just that.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the land in 1998. We built the cabin in 2004. We spend many hours on Castle Rock Lake boating, tubing, fishing, wakeboarding, knee boarding and skiing. There's approx. 8 restaurant/bars on the lake. Many have live music on the outside deck and beach volleyball. There are county and state parks all around offering excellent hiking and walking trails. We also enjoy being close to the snowmobile and ATV routes. Of course, there is always a camp fire at night. So much activity during the day yet a place and time to relax when we want to.

Our proximity to Castle Rock Lake, Wisconsin Dells and world renowned Northern Bay Golf Course makes this the perfect place to be. Our owner built home has all the amenities with large kitchen, dining, living, 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, porch and full basement. All on 10 wooded acres to explore!
