The cabin was located in a perfect location for my outdoor activities. Also as very pleased with all the nice new appliances from a new grill to all new appliances inside the cabin. also, the property manager did everything in their power to make her stay more comfortable.
We rented this for our son and his wife on their wedding night. They loved it!

Adequate for our needs, but that's about all. We needed an extra couple of rooms for our family vacation and we booked this cabin to house some family members. Basically just a bed and a bathroom was needed. Did not spend any time there. Cabin was clean enough inside, but in bad shape on the outside. Exterior needs some TLC as gutters are overflowing with debris. Overall appearance is shabby on the outside.
Old cabin with new floors. Located right next to Hwy 12. Another cabin right next door. Split AC didn't work. Units had low charge alarms. There were fans in the rooms. Thankfully it wasn't too hot. Stairs leading upstairs have trip hazards and head knocker. Beds were comfortable. Overpriced

Thank you for your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear about the issue with the AC unit during your stay. I wish you had reached out to us at the time—we would have been happy to address it immediately and ensure your comfort. The issue has since been resolved, and the AC is now working perfectly.
As for the stairs, you're absolutely right—they are narrower due to the cabin’s older design. To help with this, we’ve installed a hand railing to enhance safety and accessibility.
We appreciate your comments and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
Unclear bedrooms are upstairs with bathroom downstairs. The stairs are dangerous and not suitable for elderly or disabled bodies. The worst part was the dead animal decaying underneath cabin and the squirrel slowly dying on porch the entire stay from all the poison traps around property. It smelled like death, DISGUSTING with nowhere else to go on a holiday weekend.
Came for youth elk camp. First day discovered the oven didn’t work. HOWEVER, it was replaced 2 days latter. The only thing that made me nervous was the steep stairs. Take that serious when they say not for small kids. Ours are teens, so we were good but I wouldn’t recommend letting grandma go up then either. Was difficult to regulate the heat at night, not sure what we were doing wrong there. Loved having the washer and dryer. Though the windows in the washroom were not very secure. Over all would stay again for elk camp again

Cute ish place
Place was not tooo bad, but. Smelled like body odor and cat food depending on the time of day. My husband walked down the very narrow and steep stairs from the second floor and cut the back of his heal on a nail or a fastener for an extension cord that went across the stairs. Okay accidents happen but.... We went to look for bandages and the kit in the bathroom was empty. The outside hangout area was dirty and the ambience lights were laying on the ground. Place was okay but wouldn’t stay there again for that much money.

Since your visit, we’ve inspected the stairs to ensure everything is safe and secure. We’ve also restocked the first aid kit and refreshed the outdoor area, including securing the lighting, to provide a better experience for future guests.
We hope you’ll reconsider and give us another opportunity to host you in the future!
The best thing going for this house is the area it is located in. Beautiful area with lots to do. The house is clean and functional. It is an older home, and as such has a few small quirks. The stairs did cause us a little concern. The way the stairs are situated compared to the bedroom doors is not something you want to navigate when half asleep in the dark. (Look carefully at the picture of the stairs in the listing and especially how the top step is in relation to the bedroom door.). We solved our concern by leaving the lamp on in the other bedroom to serve as a nightlight. You could do the same with the bathroom light at the bottom of the stairs if both bedrooms were in use.I was a little concerned at first about the house being right on the highway, but it is back far enough that we were never bothered by any road noise. We also really enjoyed having the use of the gas grill. When we first arrived, there seemed to be a funky smell in the house, but I opened some windows to air it out and it didn’t seem to be an issue. Over the course of the weekend, I realized that smells from cooking in the kitchen just don’t seem to dissipate. Every time we returned home in the afternoon after a day out, the house smelled strongly of bacon from that morning’s breakfast. The only real problem we had was that we couldn’t consistently figure out the air conditioning. We had a couple of extremely hot nights. Probably our fault, but instructions might be nice.
