Newly updated living room, sleeping area and kitchen awaits you with all of the ammenities of home: queen size bed, pull out queen size couch to sleep 4 comfortably, fully stocked kitchenette with new built in microwave, new stove top and fridge. We also have a new, wall mounted flat screen TV with cable and the best features of all: the largest pool in Atlantic Beach with a great kiddie pool for the little ones. Enjoy a quick walk across the street directly to the beach. If none of these options suit you there is also lounging available down the walkway from the condo to overlook the sound with picnic tables and chairs. You will also have access to the onsite grills. 40th Birthday Week at the Beach

This is the 9th consecutive year that we have rented this room from Jill. The location can’t be beat. We are always happy with our stay here. Jill is always so responsive and Wes, the property manager, is always so friendly and takes care of everything. We were told that a previous tenant had an issue with the smoke detector in the room, but it was up and working properly when we got there. Wes came by and double checked it for Jill. The whole week was great! Can’t wait to go back!

Parents’ Vacay

My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend away together - Atlantic Beach/Morehead City/Beaufort - is our favorite area! We also attended a wedding in Indian Beach (the original reason for the trip). We have stayed at this location 4-5 times, specifically in this unit twice and we are always pleased! It’s very easy to visit all the attractions in the area - this unit is well kept and easy to check in/communicate with the owners - we will definitely come again!

Had a wonderful experience at this property; located on the sound for great fishing, and directly across the street from the beach access. The owner Jill was a pleasure to work with, I’m sure we’ll be visiting again soon!

Our stay in Atlantic Beach

The location was great! The manager we spoke to was very helpful. We noticed there were no smoke detectors and he brought one. We tried to send email to owner but no response. There were no dish towels to wash and dry the dishes. I went out and bought one. I also bought a frying pan cause the one in the room was not great! To get five stars these items need improvement!

Fishing Getaway

The property is an older location, built in 1975, but is well maintained and perfect for a getaway with my son and friend. The pier is not far away and surf fishing is just across the street. This is our second time staying in Bogue Shores. We may go again. The room was newly renovated and and was excellent with no issues.

2nd stay at this property

The location, pool, unit itself and the property manager, Wesley, are excellent. The only problem was a miscommunication with the linen service that was rectified on day 2. Apparently the previous renters had set the TV so that I needed help to fix it, but it took the Spectrum rep two pushes of buttons to correct it. I would recommend this property.

Bogue Sound

Plenty of room for two. The decor is beautiful and the apartment is quite acquainted. However, the kitchen and bathroom need a thorough cleaning. There was lots of hair in the kitchen and the sink was nasty. The bathroom was equally filthy with hair. The lamp on the beside table is broken making the room pretty dark. I enjoyed staying there and would stay again if, the kitchenette and bathroom were cleaner. My host was wonderful and maintenance was very efficient.

Great place for a short stay

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at this studio apartment. The location was great, the pool was awesome, and the locals we met were friendly and helpful. The unit itself was comfortable although I agree with previous reviewers that the sleeper sofa is not comfortable and could use an upgrade. Since it was just my friend and myself at the place, we took turns taking the bed and sleeping on the couch as a twin bed rather than as the uncomfortable foldout couch. It was great having a kitchen. The bathroom is small but serviceable although the bathroom sink is tiny and ridiculous. Overall, though, I would stay at this location again.

2021 vacation

The room was ok! The bed wasn’t that comfortable! The couch in the room was filthy! Definitely needs replacing! The cabinets-and drawers in the kitchenette need to been cleaned! Clean behind the bed and furniture make sure you get baseboards! It’s a small room it shouldn’t be that hard to make sure details are looked after! I love Bogue Shores …so keep up with the other rooms and make sure your cleaning staff is doing a great job!!! Update and your guest will appreciate it !!

Little disappointed

Maybe you are unaware of the condition the condo the condition is left for the next tenants. Let me give you some details of what we found. We were met with human hairballs on the rug. The items in pantry, (I.E. coffee, pam) were out of date by multiple years (pre covid years). Our first morning coffee meeting was met with a non working Keurig machine of which we purchased k cups that were useless. The one roll of John Wayne toilet paper that was given to us only lasted two days. The 40.00 dollars for linens that gave us two wash clothes and two bath towels for the week was laughable and pretty much disgusting. Should we even mention the mold in the toilet that could kiss your cheeks??? The only saving grace was the property manager, Wesley, who was willing to purchase pantry items that we already purchased for the week. Wesley is a considerate man who was looking out for the tenants well being. Will we go back??? Possibly not at this location.

Home away from home

We always enjoy our stay at Bogue Shores! We come down every year and switch units between a couple down here. This year, we were back staying at one of Jill’s unit and it’s always perfect! She is very responsive and great to work with. Looking forward to coming back next month!

I have currently retired from East Carolina University and my husband continues to work for Core and Maine, where he has been for approximately 30 years. We are ECU Pirate fans and enjoy living in Eastern North Carolina.

Why they chose this property

My husbands family has had a place a the beach since the early 60's. They sold their beach home and purchased this condo. We acquired it from them not too long ago and completely renovated it hoping to attract visitors, so they can come enjoy the beach and enjoy all it has to offer; shopping, deep-sea fishing, swimming at the beach or relaxing at the pool.
