A Place at the Beach is located in beautiful Atlantic Beach. This portion of Atlantic Beach has the widest beach on the island. This oceanview condo is on the courtyard side of Building L overlooking the playground, large pool with waterslide, and a great view of the ocean. Building L, where unit 210 is located, has an elevator and a coin operated laundry - both located very close to the condo. This condo is in a resort location with many amenities, such as: large pool with waterslide, indoor pool with jacuzzi, outdoor jacuzzi, playground for the kids, mini golf, table tennis, shuffleboard, corn hole, outdoor bowling, lighted tennis court and basketball court, gas and charcoal grills, picnic tables, gazebo with swing to watch the sunsets, and direct beach access. All needed extras are available for check out in the resort office from tennis racquets to corn hole bags.

A Place at the Beach offers free WiFi and onsite security.

The town of Atlantic Beach also has a very nice skate park, splash pad and playground a short distance from the resort.

Another Amazing Stay

This is our 2nd time staying in this property and we just love it. It is well appointed with kitchen items for cooking and the location and views are wonderful.

Wonderful trip

My family had a wonderful vacation. The amenities were amazing-pool with a water slide, mini golfing, beach, food trucks, poolside bingo- we were never bored. Sitting out on the deck was always relaxing. We were close enough to restaurants and other things to do also! The internet was spotty in the condo which would impact the Roku but nothing to be worried about! Looking forward to many more trips here!

Great location

We stayed at this unit for 5 nights. Here are some observations made during our stay. Pro: A Place at the Beach “resort” was well managed. There was security and a good check in process. The pool, proximity to the beach and other amenities were great. Grills, basketball courts, etc were all great and in good condition too. Cons: This unit is not “recently remodeled” as described. Unless one would consider flooring and paint remodeled. It’s age shows everywhere else. Including the kitchen vent from the 60’s and AC unit that is ready for launch it was so loud. Don’t plan on using hot water in more than one location at a time. The TV’s were difficult to control and the instructions provided were not correct. We visited 2 other units while staying here. Both were definitely remodeled. This unit is far from it. There is 1 elevator for this building and it is at the other end from this unit. Slow and small making it difficult to maneuver carts. The elevator was closer to the beach end, fyi. No laundry in this unit but others do have available laundry. Their vents feed into the main walking areas so it gets hot and stuffy in the corridors. Navigating the complex can be confusing but after a few days you’ll learn what stairs go where. Overall: I would stay at A Place at the Beach again but I would consider a unit other than this one.
