This condo was a perfect last minute booking. Was a bit smaller than I am used to but overall a great stay. Loved the location. Steps away from domain shopping. Netflix was a plus. Easy contactless check in and check out. Will stay here again!

The apartment is perfect. The communication with host is superb, it’s in the heart of the domain which is an incredible location and walking distance to everything needed and if not, a quick uber to places like target. The apartment has everything one will need and is in tip top condition. I will be 1000% returning. 10/10

I struggle with leaving negative reviews, but I would have never booked here if I had read a more accurate review. While the living room and kitchen were fine (and clearly updated), the bedroom and bathroom were filthy. Heavily stained carpet, mildewed shower and curtain, leaking pipe in the bathroom/laundry room that dripped all night and day. The sheets were stained and appeared unchanged. Host was unwilling to offer refund but did reimburse me for a clean pillow and set of linens that I purchased. The parking pass did not work the entire week I was there. Had to park illegally but luckily was not ticketed. Host’s response was that he didn’t know why it wasn’t working, No attempt to help or troubleshoot. I understand this is an old building, but I did not take my shoes off the entire time I was there because the floors were so gross, and felt uncomfortable sleeping in the bedroom. Host was helpful when I arrived and was unable to locate/use the entrance, but otherwise not great. Plus was the location, which was central to many of the things I wanted to visit.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the stay did not meet your expectations. However, I would like to clarify a few points for future guests, as the review does not fully reflect the efforts made to resolve the concerns during the stay which from the beginning were focused on a refund while still staying at a place you were uncomfortable in, instead of in solving the issues that were brought up. When the concerns were brought to my attention by the VRBO support team, instead of by the guest directly, I offered to deliver the replacement items requested and work to address the issues. Those items were declined, and the guest instead purchased them independently, for which I provided reimbursement. I also offered a full refund so the guest could relocate to another property if she was very unhappy (as she stated) with the accommodations. That option was declined by the guest as well, and she chose to remain in the property she felt so uncomfortable in. I understand that alternative accommodations may not have fit within her budget, but the option to leave with a full refund was available. We take cleanliness and maintenance concerns seriously and are always looking for ways to improve. At the same time, I want future guests to know that when concerns are communicated to us, we make a genuine effort to resolve them and provide reasonable solutions. We appreciate the positive feedback about the location and remain committed to providing our guests with a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was nicely furnished, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Communication from the host was outstanding throughout our stay. The convenience of being within walking distance to so many great restaurants, shops, and dining areas at The Domain made the stay even better. We especially appreciated how easy it was to explore the area without needing to drive. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a great place to experience Austin!
