Spring: Birders, mushroom foragers, and wildflower enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy as new life emerges from the green grasses and trees. Morel mushrooms, found in early May, must be cooked before eating.
Summer: Summer is alive with flora, fauna, mountain thunderstorms, and recreational activities like river rafting, kayaking, paddle-boarding, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, llama trekking, fishing, and boating. There is direct access to State Forest mountain trails from the property. Huckleberries ripen mid to late summer, with prime picking season in August, while cherries are available along Flathead Lake.
Autumn: Autumn offers photographers and painters a palette of fall colors and enchanting light, especially at sunset.
Winter: Winter brings snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, ice-fishing, mushing, sledding, and ice skating. Bigfork transforms into a festive Christmas village with decorations and the Parade of Lights.
