Welcome to our thoughtfully renovated lower-level duplex, just a 15-minute walk (or 3-minute drive) from downtown Rochester and Mayo Clinic. Built in 1901, this home blends historic character with modern updates, creating a comfortable stay whether you're visiting for medical care, work, or a weekend getaway.

We enjoyed this stay. Homey and clean. Well-appointed, nice bathrooms. We like to cook and had everything needed to prepare meals in the up to date kitchen. Very comfortable beds and host is pleasant and communicative. Recommended! Thank you.

We loved Rose’s place, and should we find ourselves in Rochester again will be returning! The location is fantastic! No more than 7 mins from Mayo, 10 from Hy-Vee and the mall, only 5mins from Cub foods, mins from plenty of parks, trails and even a splash pad! The property was clean and has just about everything you could need. What I love best is how much this property felt like a home! There are so many little things that just make such a big difference! Warm fluffy throw blankets to cuddle on the couch, board games to play with the kids, high quality dishes, knives and cookware, thick towels, plenty of parking… So many personal touches that make this home a much better option than a hotel room!

Comfortable accommodations, nice having separate bathrooms per bedroom. Ample parking, easy to find. Our only challenge was dealing with road construction, lol. We got quick responses to our questions from the host. Easy walking access to downtown, and plenty of restaurant options nearby.

What we enjoy most is the easy access to delicious dining spots, including our favorite Dutch breakfast joint, Hollandberry Pannekoeken.
