Prior to our arrival there was an issue with the futon bed from the previous guest. They went out of their way to ensure there was a new futon purchased and in place before we arrived. Great communication with the host.

We stayed at this house for a wedding at the castle in Waco. The host (Sarah) was very considerate and made our check in process very easy after allowing us an early check-in. She was also very responsive when we had any questions. Parking was easy and it’s a quiet neighborhood which made the place feel quaint and cozy. However, I do have some feedback about a couple things which would elevate the comfort of future guests a lot more. The beds were quite creaky and loud and made creaking noises with even slight movement. One of the overhead light/fan had the chains missing which made it difficult to turn off the fan and only keep the lights on. Lastly, the rod in the bathroom was pretty rusted which I didn’t realize initially and it ended up getting on my clothes. Beyond that, we liked the place’s proximity to the castle at wildwood gardens where we had the wedding.

I’m sorry to hear about the bed noise, missing fan chains, and bathroom rod. We were in regular communication throughout your stay, but these concerns were never mentioned. I would have gladly worked to resolve them had I known, especially the rust getting on your clothing. I wish I’d had the opportunity to make things right while you were here. Excellent communication with host! We needed a place to stay local while we had some work done at our home. I really appreciated the pet friendly atmosphere, Even feed bowls there for us to use! But you’d never know pets were there! Very clean and very organized. Great water pressure in the shower. And the pantry had staples for us to use: coffee, some spices, sugar. Played games when the grands visited for the day. The owner addressed little issues we had that were beyond their control. Their neighbors are nice, and we really felt safe. Thank you Sarah and Adrian for allowing us to stay at your property!

I only gave this a 3-star review because upon arrival, the house was not clean due to a miscommunication on the cleaner’s end, and I assume the cleaners did not get the notification. The host was very efficient and urgent in resolving the issue and made sure the home got cleaned quickly. The communication was very good with the host, and the cleaners were also very efficient and nice!Even though the check-in was frustrating, it was made right, and we were also refunded for the cleaning fee. I’m sure if this hadn’t occurred, I would have rated it 5 stars.

It was lovely and homey when we walked in. This would be our home away from home for 5 days. Clean, accommodating and had everything we needed or wanted. I haven't slept that good in.months. The host was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I was 120% stay again.

steep incline parking area which might need to be mentioned. exterior needed to be cleaned we couldn’t sit on outside chairs which were stained. I swept and cleaned it there was some bits of trash that must have spilled which I picked up the front bedroom was perfect for us with a closet we bought coat hangers as there was no room to put clothes in drawers the second room had no room to put suitcase on too. The beds were comfortable sheets clean. The bathroom is small with no room to put a toiletry bag. The shower was nice a hot for everyone. The collapsible bed was a waste of space broken and a terrible mattress. The washer and dryer was a plus except the dryer was taking long my husband saw there was hole in the lint collector he cleaned out the bottom of dryer as fear of a fire happening. Loved the back door to take dog out but not the ramp outside that need replacing as some boards were not safe. Also we covered the bottom of front and back doors at night as there are gaps that bugs can come in. The kitchen was a great area except for ants coming out of the outlets on back right side of sink . I loved the table and chairs and the bench as we had our family come over to play games and make Memories. Your living room was a good area to talk and watch TV except TV in Bedroom is connected to TV in Living Room. We loved the place it was close to the event and a meeting place for the family. Curb appeal trim plants & cushions, dryer vent, ants,door gap, ramp and clean grill

We’re sorry to hear about the concerns you encountered. We wish you had reached out during your stay so we could have had the opportunity to address them promptly. The ant issue has since been resolved, and the futon has been replaced with a brand-new one. For future guests, our driveway does have an incline, though we would not describe it as steep. We also take the maintenance and cleanliness concerns mentioned seriously and have made adjustments to fix said issues.

Great little cottage in a quiet part of GA
