This property is located within a quiet, residential neighborhood on the pristine west coast of the island, just minutes walk to shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarket, petrol station, 24-hour medical centre, taxi stand, public transportation and some of the best beaches on the island. It is also close to the the Bellairs Research Institute.
Recently renovated and fully self contained, the apartment has one-bedroom and one bathroom (ensuite). It is updated, spacious and outfitted with Insect screens and security grills on all windows, Granite counter tops, AC unit in the bedroom, Ceramic tiles throughout and built in closets and cupboards. The apartment has been tastefully designed, with modern and comfortable furniture, new appliances & lots of counter/closet space. A queen size pull out sofa bed in the living room can be prepared upon request, or a folding bed provided in the bedroom, for additional sleeping space. The kitchen is well equipped with both large and small appliances, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and bake ware. The apartment has its own private entrance, and outdoor living spaces (patio) where alfresco dining can be enjoyed. The patio has insect screens (MOSQUITO MESH), ceiling fan, security bars and lockable gate. It is well maintained and is meticulously clean.
You will have access to sun loungers and beautifully manicured gardens and lawn. There is automated security lighting, the property is fully fenced, has security cameras around the exterior parameters and GATED entrance with KEY ACCESS ONLY for your added security. This apartment has its own private driveway. There is FREE high speed internet, Cable Television, Secure onsite Parking, FREE laundry facilities, and FREE access to the ‘Beach House’ where you can enjoy use of the pool, sun loungers, table/chairs, bathroom facilities, lockers, changing room, outdoor shower, restaurant/bar (food & drinks for purchase). Pretty apt. very clean and completelyaccessorized

We had a wonderful Holiday in Barbados staying in tihis pretty apt. It's very clean and full accessorized, near supermaret and service station, near the beach and the restaurant area; in the garden there is a lot of space and we have breakfst every morning in the beautiful patio.

Great Host and Location

This was our first time in Barbados and were very happy with our decision to stay here. Lavern was great to deal with and was available for any questions we had before and during our visit. The apartment was very clean and a good size (not that we spent too much time there other than in the evenings). The sizeable screened patio was a nice feature and we enjoyed our evening beverages each evening with our worry of mosquitos (not that they were bad anywhere). Looking forward to our next visit!

Great place to stay, even better location!

Lovely 2 bed apartment, spacious and beautifully renovated. Just behind the supermarket and garage, across the road from Lime Grove. Beach is a 5 minute walk max. Beach House entry means you get a great pool too. Can't recommend highly enough - owners are fantastic, and only there when you need them. Nothing's too much trouble. Been to Barbados 8 times - this is best place we've stayed!

Great property, very secure and private!

Lavern was a fantastic host checking in with us to be sure we were enjoying our vacation to the max and even took us to a Rum Factory tour and the Boat Yard! She suggested places to visit based on our likes and all of this made our trip even better than expected! From arranging to have a cab for us at the airport to returning us at the hour os 3:30 AM every thing was spot on! The location is fantastic with the grocery store so close as well as bus stop, beach and watering holes! The apartment itself is adorable and well equipped with anything you need. This was the most memorable vacation I have ever been on! We will for sure return to Holetown and the sweet Ms. Lavern!! Miss it already .

Best Place in Sunset , Wonderful Location, Awesome

Fantastic Apartment, spotless and clean, located in the most convenient part of Holetown, close to bars, restaurants, beaches, shops, and medical centre. The apartment is outfitted with everything you need, is well maintained, and has a lovely patio which is screened in to prevent mosquito invasion. There was also free, secure parking, as we rented a vehicle for a few days, and had our own private drive-way, and security gates within a fenced property; we felt very safe here. Palm Crest Apartments has the perfect combination of clean, spacious and updated accommodation, perfect location (within 5 minutes or less walk to all amenities), and the best host you can wish for. Lavern is kind, patient, helpful and efficient as the owner and property manager. Communication was excellent before we arrived, during our stay, and even after we departed. I could not have asked for a better hosts, who looked after us well, recommended activities and was always available throughout our stay. This is the best place on the West Coast, without a doubt, and we will definitely be returning for our annual holiday to Palm Crest Apartments.

Excellent location on Barbados, incredibly generous and helpful owners, amazing vacation!

We came to this side of the island for the calmer surf and relaxed vibe away from the touristy south, but we had no idea what a great decision it really was until we spent two weeks on the island. With our wonderful hosts as our guides we were taken to local farmers markets, beaches and cafes (they even brought us to another resort we'd considered staying at, just to see!) and couldn't believe how lucky we'd been to have chosen Lavern's lovely property. The location is perfect: three blocks to the beach (I should say beaches because there are so many beautiful ones nearby), a block from a big local grocery store and mall with everything you need if you want to eat in, and beach bars, upscale restaurants, food-trucks, bistros and patisserie/cafes if you want to eat out.. There's even a Luis Vuitton right across the street if, well, we couldn't really figure out what that was doing there. All of this though is tucked away in a quiet, unpretentious and beautifully quaint little neighbourhood that will feel like a home-away-from-home when you leave. It does for us. The property itself had everything we needed. It's new and was built with guests in mind so there's only what you need and nothing you don't. The beds are also new and very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped (including a pair of ceramic pans I fell in love with and now wish I owned). There's a washing machine and drying lines in the back yard and a sand-rinse station in the front. We'd intended to rent a car but it turned out to be unnecessary as the busses are so frequent, go everywhere, and only cost a dollar. The reggae busses in particular are a definite cultural experience worth having, and they tend to be the faster option at no extra cost. If you're doing what we did for months before our vacation: looking at maps, reading guides trying to pick the right part of the island for us all while having a growing collection of rental tabs open on our desktops, you can stop now. Unless you're a single person looking for a non-stop party, this place has everything you'll want in a location that from what we saw, can't be beat.

Wonderful location, very helpful host

Amazing host and fantastic location

We stayed at Laverns 1 bedroomed place for 10 days at the end of November and couldn’t have hoped for a better holiday. The apartment is very clean with everything you could need, the bed is very comfortable, we had no issues at all. When we arrived Lavern showed us around and then took us for a mini tour to show us where everything was, including the marine park, restaurants and the beach house. Everything is close by, the beach is a slow 5 minute walk with the supermarket even closer. We decided to go to Carlisle Bay and Lavern kindly drove us there so we didn’t need to wait for the bus and then showed us how to get back from Bridgetown. Lavern also offered to sort out any tours for us and booked a taxi from the airport. Can’t wait to come back and can’t recommend it enough. We also had a tour of the two bedroom apartment which is very big and roomy enough for 6 people.

It's all about the location...

If you choose to stay at an apartment in Palm Cresent you will not be disappointed. We opted for the one bedroom modern apartment at the front of the property which was spacious enough for us clean and centrally located for all amenities. We were met by our host Lavern who is a hive of knowledge of the local area and Barbados itself. In fact Lavern is best described as your very own destination service provider a phone call away should you need her to arrange car hire a supermarket run of just a change of linen. Lavern is the epitome of customer service. The Palm Cresent apartments in Holetown are well located for the Beach; Supermarket; Chattle Villages; Limegrove and all the eateries in First and Second Street all situated within 5min walk. Bus services into either Bridgetown or Speightstown are also readily available. Having been to Barbados several times for our next trip this will certainly be our first choice of apartment.

Home away from Home

My trip to Barbados was a difficult one as I was taking my daughter to join the University at Cave Hill. Settling her in was a task and not knowing my surroundings would have made it even more difficult. I remember wondering how will I ever do this but it was made possible with our Angel Lavern, who absolutely extended herself in every way possible. Lavern took the time to explain where we could go to shop for items and even took us along with her where possible to get the best deals. When we were stranded at night as UWI in the rain without being able to get a cab, Lavern came to the rescue. Lavern's place is a home away from home, it actually makes you feel like you can live there - clean, crisp, well decorated absolutely homely and most important it is situated in close proximity of a number restaurants from fast food to fine dining, beaches in walking distance, access to a beautiful pool area, stone throw away from the supermarket and gas station. Lavern's place is so comfortable fitted with everything possible, things that I would not even think of like sewing essentials. There are not enough stars to rate Lavern's hospitality she arranged transport to and from airport, she arranged car rental, she drew maps, led the way to various places so that I can find it easily, always checking in to make sure I returned safely and not too mention even with my flight being delayed she was there waiting at 11:45pm in the night to greet me and show me through the apartment, leaving water, coffee and tea for in morning until I can get to the supermarket - just awesome value for the price!!!!! One thing I know is that I will be returning to Lavern's place from now on and encourage anyone else to do the same. Lavern thank you ever so much for all your help until we meet again.    Roberta

Found my Paradise

Eventually after years of searching have I found my ideal holiday Paradise. The destination was always Barbados, but what about the rest for an unforgettable holiday. As a single traveller, the location and accomodation were extremely important to me. Holetown and Palm Crest Apartment gave me more than I could ever have dreamed of. Corresponding with Lavern for months before arriving at the property, I was confident that I had chosen the right place for me. But the pictures does not do it justice. Far better. The cleanliness, attention to detail, comfort and anything imaginable was thought of. Lavern made me very welcome and her home was mine for a little while. A home I appreciated every day. Lavern is very professional and also someone you can call a good friend. A rare find and a place I would have no hesitation to return to. Heaven on Earth

Well where should I start? We stayed at the end of April for two weeks in 1 bed apartment and loved it. Lavern welcomed us on the day of arrival and showed us the apartment as well as shops, restaurants, beaches and the Beach House. This includes a nice pool, toilets a bar and a restaurant and is only 5 minutes away. We mostly used it after the day at the beach to enjoy the sunset. Now to the apartment itself. It is perfectly equipped with everything you need for the holiday and is super clean. We felt comfortable from day one and did not want to leave. For us it was the best that could happen to us. Fantastic, spotless & spacious. Host amazing too.

An absolutely fantastic apartment! It was beautifully furnished, spotless and there was everything there that we needed. It was 'home from home'. Air conditioning and ceiling fans were a god send. Unbeatable location - 2 mins walk from the beach, shops and restaurants, yet it was still amazingly quiet during the day and night. This is the best holiday rental we've ever been to....and we travel a lot! Our host Laverne was absolutely brilliant. Attentive, informative and nothing was too much trouble! A rare find! Would definitely, highly recommend this apartment.

Everything at you fingertips!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa #67 very, very much. It was so well equipped, there was nothing to ask for. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the well functioning air conditioner for sleeping. Other than that, we opened windows and doors and just enjoyed the warm temperatures which we had come for. Lavern, our "hostess with the mostest" was remarkably efficient and an absolute joy to deal with. We felt so well taken care of and yet we had complete privacy. Lavern made sure we knew the quickest route to beach, pool and grocery store. We found the location ideal and actually walked everywhere day and night and felt very safe. Thanks for your great hospitality ,Lavern!!

Excellent accommodation with nice extras

We went to Barbados in mid November and were lucky to get one of the three Palm Crest apartments. My personal top 3 reasons to get there again next year: - Perfect Location The well-equipped (incl. air condition), tidy, clean and comfortably spaced apartments are nicely located close to the center of Holetown, around 5 min walk to the next beach (Surfside) and with a supermarket and lots of restaurants in also around 5 min walking distance. - Most lovely host you can imagine Lavern really helped us a lot to orient on the island by showing us around on first evening, taking us to the supermarket the next morning and just being available whenever we needed her. She made us feel so welcome! - Nice "extras" In the rate there were several "extras": We could use a pool area in around 10 min walking distance with access to a very lovely beach spot (reefs with hundreds of fish) and a bar We had a mobile phone included for island calls so we did not need to pay the high roaming fees Lavern did all the booking with local agencies for us, so we did not even need to take care of that There is a private parking space right in front of the house that we could use I really don't find anything that I could criticise about this lovely accommodation and would definitely recommend it. We are definitely planning to get back there again next year.

Excellent apartment and location

The apartment was spotless and had all the equipment you might need for your stay. The aircon in the bedroom is excellent and quiet. Lavern thinks of everything and is a real pleasure to deal with. She was soooooo helpful from the time of booking until we had to leave. Unfortunately the nearby supermarket had been knocked down and a new one was being built and did not open until the day we left. This was not a problem to Lavern and her family as they took us the next day in the car to the nearest supermarket which was 8 miles away. Not many hosts would do that for you. She also recommended and booked for us a fabulous round island trip and a car hire for a couple of days. If you are wanting to stay in Holetown I thoroughly recommend Palm Crest Apartments and their lovely host Lavern.

Lavern is a god send and a lot of attention to det

Lavern is what gives this place 5 stars. She goes beyond her host duties. I was nervous travelling with my new born baby but she took care of us from the start even before arrival dealing with all my concerns. Her apartment is equipped for anything and she's paid great attention to detail. Very clean unit and fabulous location. Lovelly hot running water I felt at home here and believe me I'm picky. A lovely restful place!

What we really loved about this place was how restful it was...just what we needed. The apartment is perfect, well stocked, and spotless. You can't beat the location either. We had easy access to so many beautiful beaches, restaurants, and shops. To top it all off, Lavern is the best hostess. She truly makes you feel welcome, and goes out of her way to ensure your stay is convenient, comfortable, and unforgettable. She organized excursions for us, and made sure that we were well taken care of. I have already been telling friends to book this place if they ever go to Barbados. Thank you Lavern!! Awesomeness

We have just come back from a lovely week stay at Palm-Crest Apts, which is located in Holetown. Palm-Crest Apts were very comfortable and spacious and secure. It is in an ideal location, 5 mins walk to the beach club and the market and some of the best restaurants. Lavern is awesome and anticipated any questions you may have. She was available and very responsive to any needs; Ernest , our taxi driver was so personable, we used him to transport to and from the airport. Lavern goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. A great huge shoutout to Lavern from me and my family. We definitely recommend Palm-Crest Apts if you are planning a trip to Barbados.

Absolute perfection: location, cleanliness, etc!!

From the moment I contacted Lavern via phone after seeing her HomeAway post, I knew our accomodations would be exactly what we were hoping for. We were 3 young women traveling to Barbados for leisure, and myself, having come to the island for 26 years now, knew we wanted to stay in Holetown. My parents have a condo up the road, but Lavern's beautifully remodeled villa was much closer to everything we wanted to do (since we did not rent a car). We could walk to the beach in under 5 minutes, the shopping center, restaurants, and even nightlife open past 11pm! Anything else we could reach by bus, which was only a 5 minute walk away to the stop. The apartment was perfectly clean and ready for us, not a single complaint!! The WiFi was fast and the air conditioning at night worked great. We cannot wait to come back to Barbados and stay with Lavern again. We would recommend her to anyone visiting the island looking for a hidden Holetown gem!

What a perfect place! Look no further-seriously!!

I just returned from an amazing 10 day stay at Palm Crest! As a solo female traveller, I couldn't have made a better choice. From my first inquiry to the warm hug goodbye, Lavern was impeccable with her guest service and hospitality-truly second to none! She arranged taxi pick-up and drop off at the airport with Eugene ( a gem himself!), and gave me a great detailed tour of the area upon my arrival to show me where to go for anything I could possibly need. Sunset Crest area is so perfectly located to see all there is in beautiful Holetown. The apartments are beautiful and private, with great patios, very fresh and spacious, spotless and renovated beautifully. I didn't want to leave! Far more comfortable than an overpriced cramped hotel room! It was a perfect home base. The stunning beaches are so close and all public (you can hit the beaches right in front of the swankiest hotels!) and I spent hours walking, swimming, snorkelling, and exploring. The area is very safe, with lots of people walking around the 'main drag' in the evenings. I didn't hesitate walking around at night on my own. Lavern even drove me down to Carlisle Beach and picked me up later that day so I could check out the paddleboarding scene! Such a thoughtful gesture that I greatly appreciated, and further shows Lavern's attention and genuine interest in ensuring her guests have a wonderful stay. She set me up with a great tour as well! I just can't think of anything I would have wanted or needed that could have made my stay any better! I wont bother looking further when ( not if!) I return. This place has it all! Thank you Lavern, for the great experience, the laughs, and your thoughtfulness in every detail. I will be back!!!

I was born in Guyana, South America, and moved to Barbados in 1977 at the tender age of 1 making me almost '100% 'bajan'. The casual way of life on the island, makes living here almost perfect, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love the outdoors, especially the beach, meeting people and fostering lasting relationships; I have made friends in every corner of the world during my travels and meeting visitors to the island. My family has been providing accommodation to visitors for the last 15 years in the Sunset Crest Area, and this newly renovated property is a welcomed second addition. Sunset Crest has always been a highly desired area, with visitors referring to it as their 'second home'. From the first time I visited this property, I fell in love with it and had to have it. The building was surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens, the area was quiet, safe and peaceful, and the property was perfectly located, close to all amenities and within walking distance to some of the best beaches on the island.

The Sunset Crest area provides an unbeatable location, since amenities and beaches are all within walking distance, and it is not necessary to rent a vehicle for getting around the area. The neighborhood is residential and peaceful, providing the perfect haven for rest and relaxation but also great for guests who seek adventure and exploration. It is safe for walking around and most guests are repeat visitors who simply can't enough of the popular Sunset Crest. There are shops, restaurants, banks, shopping centres, cafes, ice-cream and pastry shops, public transportation, police station, 24-hour medical centre, pristine beaches, and ‘Limegrove Lifestyle Centre’ which provides many options for dining, entertainment and shopping. You will have FREE use of the swimming pool (kid friendly) and facilities at a lovely complex nearby called The Beach House. Several bars in the area offer live entertainment and daily 'happy hours' and there is an upscale club/lounge nearby. There are lots of beach activities nearby, such as jet skiing, snorkelling, and boat tours where you can swim with the turtles or simply rent a beach chair/umbrella while relaxing on the sand; it really is the ideal vacation spot. I will show you around the area when you arrive, and point out all of these places of interests, and am happy to make recommendations on activities, entertainment and dining; I can arrange tours/activities/vehicle rental and am available to you at all times via email and telephone before and during your stay. I am always willing to assist however I can; my guests are my main priority and you will not find a more caring, attentive and helpful host, as I strive to create the best vacation experience for you.
Because there are three apartments within the same property, it is perfect for groups who wish to stay together, while maintaining privacy, as each unit is separate and has its own entrance, patio and living spaces (entire property can accommodate maximum of 14 guests).
