What a wonderful home this is! Perfect for our ladies retreat for our church. We really enjoyed the space, the views and the warm feeling of home. we are already planning on coming back next year!

Wow! What a great location! Views were amazing. The stars at night were spell bounding. Plenty of room for everyone and only a few minutes from town. The host was always accessible and easy to communicate with. Meticulously clean and everything was good n working order. Definitely will stay again.

This house was perfect for our ladies group! It had plenty of beds and bathrooms. The views are just incredible. The dining room table fit our whole group.The kitchen was fully equipped with high-end pots and pans. We will probably rent this house next year for our ladies retreat. The management company was quick to respond and handle anything and everything.

We had a big family reunion at this house and it was perfect for the occasion. The rooms were all clean, spacious and beautiful. We did lots of cooking and there were plenty of appliances, pots, pans, knives and utensils. There were also plenty of linens. The view from the porch is beautiful with lots of rocking chairs to sit on for mornings with coffee. When we couldn’t figure out how to light the pilot on the stove the owners were able to solve that issue for us quickly. When we needed a broom and a dustpan, one was brought to us within 30 minutes. It was a wonderful house and I would love to stay there again. Not to mention the location was perfect. Black Mountain is a very quaint little town with so many great shops and restaurants and Asheville is only about 30 minutes away.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful view.

We stayed for a week while working in Black Mountain / Swannanoa. This beautiful home was a fantastic place to recoup and connect with our group. Plenty of space, more than enough beds, multiple bathrooms, and lots of seats at the dinner table. A beautiful view of the valley from the front porch.

Family Trip

This is a wonderful house for a large family vacation. We had a group of 15 and there was more than enough room for us to be comfortable. There was a power outage in Black Mountain. I emailed the host and water and flashlights were delivered to us very quickly. The best part of the trip was sitting on the porch looking at that beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful home with amazing views! Plenty of room for the 12 ladies who came on the trip. Very comfortable! The road up was a dirt road; definitely need to do it in the daylight the first time. Rain may cause some issues with the road.

Wonderful home for family gatherings

We stayed here with a few other families coming to Black Mtn for a wedding and family weekend at Warren Wilson College. The home is convenient to Black Mtn town, but it’s advisable to arrive in daylight the first day to navigate the long and steep gravel drive (4 wheel drive not necessary but navigation can be confusing the first time). The home is immaculate and there are beautiful views of the mountains. Fantastic place to host both elders and kids. Host was communicative and kind. I’m ready to plan another trip to Black Mtn!

Our family reunion group of 22 had a fabulous stay! We had grandparents and four sets of families (ages 1 - 70) that stayed in comfort and plenty of space in this home. The kitchen had plenty of space for cooking, and the dining room, kitchen, and outside eating areas gave everyone a place to sit and enjoy food together or by themselves. We enjoyed the two pianos in the house, with family members playing on their own and for a family sing-along. It was pretty cool.The drive up to the mountain top was tricky, but once we got to the house we didn't want to leave! We couldn't believe how beautiful the view was!We saw a black bear on the edge of the wooded area one morning, and thought it was very exciting! We also decided not to let the little children play outside alone after that ). The bear never approached us or bothered us, but it also seemed ambivalent to us watching it.This was a good location to tour Biltmore. We also enjoyed playing tennis and walking at Lake Tomahawk.The host was easy to work with, and answered all my questions, although we really didn't have any problems that needed to be dealt with (that's a good thing!). We would stay here again! Lovely!

This was the third year in a row that we have stayed in Black Mountain. It is a family and friends trip for my granddaughter's homecoming soccer game. By far, this house was the best. Room to seat the twelve of us in the dining room. Big kitchen. Plenty of dishes, pans, and cutlery. Nice bedrooms, only you had to walk through two of the upstairs ones to get to two others. Having the five bathrooms was a great plus with ten women! Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and the view. Cable, wifi, and cellphone service were great. The long, curvy driveway, up the hill, was the only downside to this property; but, we had plenty of parking for our four vehicles. After returning home, my sister realized she had lost a bracelet her grandchildren had given her. Getting in touch with the host, he was able to have the cleaning staff find it! We hope to return here next year!
