It was a nice house it, it was nice for the event I hosted. However, the power went out the night before and she didn’t let me know that until check in and I was already on my way. When I got there the electrician got the lights on which was great but the cleaning service was still cleaning… there was also NO SUPPLIES, no toilet paper, paper towel, or any soaps. And EVERYTHING SMELLED LIKE SMOKE. Which I know it’s a smoking house but there’s no way all the beds and towels should smell like smoke. I didn’t like the professionalism, you can tell the host doesn’t care that much.

This property was absolutely filthy and, in my opinion, was not in a condition that should have been rented to anyone.There were holes in the walls and doors, dirty walls, missing cabinets in the kitchen, and fruit flies throughout the house. The carpets were filthy, and there were basement doors hanging off their hinges. One of the bedrooms had a television that appeared to have been ripped off the wall.The listing also advertised this as a two-bathroom home, but it is not a two-bathroom house. There is one actual bathroom, with a toilet sitting in the basement. The basement was also advertised as having a game room, but there was no usable game room. There were old, extremely dirty and dusty games sitting in the basement that looked like they had not been used or cleaned in years. Something was sitting on top of the games, making them difficult to even access, and they were not in playable condition.The laundry room was so filthy that it was difficult to even walk into it. There were holes in the walls and doors that appeared to have been caused by someone punching or damaging them.There was also no actual couch in the living room. What was provided was a leather futon, which is not what I would consider a couch for a home advertised to accommodate families.Overall, this property was not clean, properly maintained, or accurately represented in the listing. I would not consider it livable or suitable for a family, especially for anyone traveling with young children

Do not stay here. Positive reviews are fake. We left after seeing it and got a hotel. Dirty. Hasnt been cleaned in years. Holes in walls and doors. Burn marks on floors and table. Doors to rooms do not close. Looks like drinks were splattered on walls and TV. Fridge was dirty. Stove dirty. Cabinets dirty with old crumbs. Cabinet door falling off. Bathtub not draining. Inadequate shelving in bathroom for hygiene products. Neighborhood was sketchy but could have delt with that. Smelled bad. VRBO should not have this listed.

House was kinda nice the couch was broke and the bedding smelled like pee which was disappointing and disgusting the utensils were dirty. Cups were dirty and the place could’ve been a little more cleaner.

Lack of cleanliness

Overall, the house is fine. The neighborhood and area is a little skeptical. There is nowhere to park except for in front of the house or on the side. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving a nice vehicle in the neighborhood though. The carpets had more than enough stains that I could handle. Me and my guests ended up packing up our bags and leaving, we did not stay a night because we were uncomfortable. Other than wasting 542, the host was friendly and replied in a nice and timely manner.
