We also provide a range of essentials, including full-size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, laundry detergent, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, and a sponge, along with starter supplies of toilet paper and paper towels. As outlined in our pre-arrival communication, complimentary coffee and cooking oil are not included among our standard provisions. We would have been happy to stock these items upon request. Thank you for your feedback and for noting the cleanliness, spaciousness, and amenities of the home. While we do not typically respond to reviews, we felt it was important to respond to this particular comment regarding bedbugs. At the time this review was posted, we had already hosted additional guests with no similar concerns reported. After receiving the review, we immediately conducted a thorough inspection of all mattresses and bedding, including the use of UV lighting, and found absolutely no evidence of bedbugs or any related issue. Out of an abundance of caution, we still replaced the bedding. As many travelers know, skin irritation or bites can sometimes appear days after outdoor exposure. This guest spent time in everglades where they were exposed to insects such as no-see-ums and mosquitoes. While we cannot determine the exact cause of the guest’s experience, we wanted to share the results of our inspection so future guests have accurate information. We take cleanliness and guest comfort extremely seriously.
