This home is a cut above the rest for a perfect family vacation and is offering recently reduced summer rates!

Sunsational Tara, also known as the ''White Pearl'' of Surfside Beach is the perfect vacation home for your family and friends. This 6 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom home sleeps 16 and has a fresh look for 2025 with new paint and upgraded decor. Every bedroom has new mattresses, a flat screen TV, and a private restroom. This home is located across the street from the beach access, has covered porches on 1st and 2nd levels, a private pool, outdoor shower, industrial icemaker, and grilling area. This 2nd row Beach House is just steps to the pristine and family friendly sandy beaches of Surfside Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.

Sunsational Tara has everything you need to make memories at the beach. The house has an open concept living area with large flat screen TV, comfortable seating, dining area, and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, perfect for making your beach snacks or full meals! This beautiful home also boasts an industrial icemaker so you drinks will remain ice cold your whole vacation!

This house is conveniently located near the attractions, shopping and entertainment of Myrtle Beach, but furnishes the atmosphere of a family friendly neighborhood. Enjoy a walk on the beach, go fishing, or just relax by your private pool!

All linens and bath towels are included. For your convenience, this home includes WiFi, a washer and dryer, and parking for up to four average size vehicles. There is a ground level outdoor shower.

Interaction with guests:
Southern Coast Vacations has a complete reservations staff that is well versed in all aspects of each of our rentals homes and the surrounding areas. We work with you during the booking process, before your arrival for additional questions and information, and are available to you 24/7 in the event of an emergency. If at any time you are in need, we are able to assist!

Other things to note:
Beach and Pool towels are not provided, so be sure to bring some along.
Pool is not heated.
Our properties are completely non smoking.
Pet friendly for one dog under 50 pounds -breed restrictions may apply, please inquire.
There is a $250 non-refundable pet fee
We rent to families and adults over the age of 25.
Motorcycles, Golf carts, and trailers are welcome.
This property features a charcoal grill.
Ice maker is in the outdoor closet.


Although homes are often equipped with some non-perishable food items, such as sugar, coffee, and spices, please plan on bringing any items you may need. Guests are supplied a starter set of paper products. Each rental will have toilet tissue and a paper towel roll in the kitchen. Please come prepared with your own soaps or other needed toiletries such as dish detergent or laundry detergent. Please bring any blankets or towels you plan on using outside (pool or beach).

Family tradition beach vacation

The house was clean and plenty of room for our family of 10 and dogs. It’s just across the street from the ocean, which was perfect. Beds were comfy and the house had cute decor. Everything you need to cook with was in the kitchen. The only thing we needed to buy was a small Keurig coffee maker. The commercial ice maker was a plus. We had a great time.

We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, everything we needed was close. The house was very spacious, everyone had their own space. The kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay again, The management was very helpful

Out stay

When we first arrived the door code would not work, but after a few phone calls, one key was hid under the mat and we got extra keys delivered to us within hours. We had a very nice stay, loved the location.

Exactly how it is presented online. We enjoyed ourselves! We weren’t in the mix of all the go go go in the city, yet in a nice, clean, peaceful area. We’ll stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. However, it would be a little more pleasant if the furniture was updated or at least cleaned. Sofas & chairs are very dirty. Other than that we like the house very much.

We had a house full of kids and adults so we needed a situation that could accommodate all needs. This house was perfect and would recommend for anyone seeking easy beach access and a pool. The proximity to the busy road was the only real concern however was mitigated by blocking off the stair access for the smaller kids.

The perfect home for family and friends

Our entire experiencing renting from the Novielli family was wonderful! I can't thank them enough for their hospitality, making it possible for my friends and I to gather three generations under one roof for a relaxing week at the beach. The home is beautiful inside and out, with a modern interior and every amenity you could imagine. It is located right across from the beach, making it a very desirable place to stay if you have children. We loved having our own pool and had a great time barbecuing! Every evening was spent in the rocking chairs of the front porch enjoying the view and sounds of the ocean. Thank you so much for opening your home to us, and we hope to rent from you again one day!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 13 family members stay the week here (two children under 14) and our dog. Everyone had a great time, there was plenty of room to sleep, eat and relax. We love how close it was to the beach and we love the pool. I suggest taking advantage of the parking in the lot 1/2 a block behind the house so everyone is not moving cars around, as there is only room for 4 cars under the house and they all have to be in a straight line, one behind the other. Once we parked a couple in the lot behind us it was much less stressful to move cars around.

No dishwasher for the entire week doesn’t cut it!

Emailed/called about the “lack of dishwasher” 4 different occasions. No follow up from Southern Coast Vacations. Poor customer service.

Fantastic Property

We enjoyed our stay at this property, June 3-June 10. On our first night one of the doors to a bedroom got locked and maintenance sent a representative within 1 hour to open door. While he was there, he addressed a couple of other small concerns in a friendly professional way. Washer was replaced while we were there which took care of the off-balance issue when items were washed. I made calls to property management a few other items and they were always able to answer my questions. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was priceless for my family of 16. Because weather was so good and beach so close the 6 grandsons did not spend much time in the pool but when they did they enjoyed it. I would recommend this property to other families looking for a good place to stay.

Bike Week

The house was great. However like the reviews said the pool was dirty. Not things flouting on top dirty but GREEN steps and dirty walls. Before I rented I called and was promised the pool would be cleaned! It wasn’t….. a few phone calls later and someone showed up to clean and shocked it. Bad part is we all wanted to jump in the pool after a four hour motorcycle ride in and couldn’t tell the next day due to Chemicals. Over all a great place we had fun but my crew always does no matter where we go. Oh P.S cut the grass yard looked like bad.

Loved that it was pet friendly for my fur babies. The house looked clean but I had to clean up a spill and the floors were filthy. There were roaches in the house. The seals around the doors were horrible so the bugs were able to come in. We had to buy bug spray to spray outside which helped a little. The rental place said they would spray after we left. I didn't want them to spray while we were there because of the dogs. The pool was great also.

We will share your feedback with our staff and make the necessary changes. Unfortunately in our area with high humidity, we do have very large bugs that look like roaches that fly. We call them water bugs or Palmetto bugs. They live inside the Palm trees and venture indoors for water. The seals around the doors were repaired and this house is on a regular scheduled pest control service.

Great location

The house was on a corner across from beach. Positives include outdoor shower. Well stocked kitchen although it was difficult to locate a certain utensil because nothing other then silverware was organized. Bathrooms for each bedroom was a plus. They allowed us to check in a 1;00 instead of 4. The wraparound porch and rockers were great. Negative: the floors were filthy. Made our feet black. There was so much dust under the master bedroom bed. The extra comforter was so soiled.(pictured). The rag rug in the kitchen was exactly that, a rag.(pictured)It was Thanksgiving. We cooked a turkey. The oven was filthy.(pictured) House was lacking amenities. Most VRBOs have pool table, porch swing, Beach chairs etc.The outdoor stairs had safety runners that were tearing away. The house is in need of updates The site does not allow for pictures.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Where do I 4sons,their families & I (total of 14, from 5 different states)had a great experience. Loved being so close to the beach. The private pool was wonderful & refreshing on those very hot days. We only had one rainy day, so we set up several games & a food table in the open space under the house. The 5 grandkids could run around.(It would of helped if there was a cover over the main stairwell but it did not stop us)Everyone liked having their own bedrooms & bathrooms, the kitchen & great room was large enough to fit us all. The property location was the BEST!! It was close to Myrtle Beach & other beaches, so we could go out for a fun evening but come back to a quiet place, without the crowds. The property was cleaned & well maintained, plus all the amenities. Who would of guessed that having a washer/dryer would of been so wonderful!! A few evenings we just relaxed on the porch & enjoy the view. We even got to see a double rainbow over the ocean!!Since I've never been to this area it helped talking directly to the owner when I was trying to set up our vacation time. Suzy was also very helpful with things to do in the area. We felt more like we were visiting a friend's home, instead of a 'rental'!!Thank you very much, we had a great experience & can not wait to return.

It was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The only issue was the washer which we communicated to rental office. They responded with maintenance follow-up and decided to replace. We were told it would happen on Friday, June 2nd but never happened.We would rent again . Again we are from Wendell, N.C. , not Windale!!

If things would have been cleaned at the correct time, I believe we wouldn’t have had any issues at all.
