Both Bedrooms feature Queen size beds. Both full bathrooms have updated stand up showers and are just a step away from the bedrooms. Outside is a lovely porch to take in the ocean views and catch up on a good book! There is a gas grill waiting to cook up your fresh catch of the day and a nice concrete table for dining. The kitchen features a 12 cup drip Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker for you to enjoy your favorite brew. Parking for 1 vehicle per Unit. This vehicle must fit on the driveway and not extend out to the road. The driveway measures 15'L x 10'W. If your vehicle does not fit when you arrive, you will need to see the guard gate for an additional parking pass for the overflow lot which costs $5/day. Extra parking permit may be available at the Guard Station for an additional nightly fee for a maximum of 14 days depending on availability. Must follow all the Rules and Regulations during your stay. Main guest must be 25 years of age or older and will need to email a copy of your drivers license to the Rental Manager after booking has been accepted. We have been coming to Venture out since 2008 and our experience with Bluescape Rentals was by far the best yet! Very professional, kind and courteous! The house was extremely well stocked with linens for bedding and bathroom needs and the kitchen was also extremely well stocked with what appeared to be all new cook ware!

Overall, this is a good property. It's in a well-managed resort. The house itself had a spacious den & good sized kitchen/counter space. It's a good place to relax after a day exploring the keys - close enough to Key West to make daily trips easy, far enough away to avoid congestion and noise. The kitchen has the basic necessities. The furnishings are basic rental property quality. - metal cot frames hold the mattresses; the lviing room furniture is comfortable but starting to show its age. We'd give the kitchen 4 stars for the physical layout and a 3 for the equipment provided (pots, coffee maker, cooking utensils, etc). The bedrooms were small but had a lot of storage capability. The house could use a little TLC here & there but overall, it was a good stay at a good location - a great base of operations for a Keys visit.

Our first night started off poorly when we were greeted by a huge cockroach, which made it hard to sleep. Luckily, there was bug spray under the sink. I guess they knew. We then dealt with smelling the spray all night. The unit is a mobile/modular home, not a traditional house, and it feels very worn and dated throughout.The bedrooms are small with barely any room to move or get dressed—we constantly bumped into the bed corners, and I ended up with lingering knee pain. All of the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Two of the mirrored closet doors were cracked and held together with tape, which added to the overall rundown feel.The bathroom showers were small, but the water pressure was surprisingly good. The kitchen, dining, and living areas had a nice layout. The living room furniture and the whole place could use a deep cleaning. Items in the closets were extremely dusty. Ask about rules before booking. There are many rules, including keeping the AC set no lower than 74 (76 when away), which made our first night miserably hot along with a few other nights. The property is pet-friendly, but there are no grassy areas—only rocks—so you have to walk your pets off-property for bathroom breaks. It is an okay place to stay in a great location. Lots to do if you decide to stay on site. However, overall, this place did not meet our expectations and we wouldn’t stay here again.

While we do have regular pest control in place, we understand how unsettling this must have been, and we’re addressing it with our team to ensure better preventative measures moving forward.
Regarding the condition of the unit, we acknowledge your comments about the furniture, closet doors, and overall wear and tear. We are currently in the process of evaluating updates to the property and your feedback helps us prioritize improvements. We're also revisiting our cleaning procedures with our housekeeping staff to ensure a more thorough and consistent experience for future guests.
The AC and pet policies are in place to help maintain the system’s functionality and respect the community layout, but we understand how they may have felt restrictive and will consider ways to better communicate them before booking.
