We had a fantastic stay and had excellent communication with the host when we had questions. The home is newly renovated, clean and served us well. The porch was used daily and was the highlight of the home. We would return to this home in the future.

Some places don’t just host you, they hold you. From the moment we arrived at this gem on Mills River, the outside world quietly faded away.We spent most of our time on the most incredible oversized porch, completely lost in the rhythm of the river flowing before us. There’s something almost meditative about that sound, it just pulls you in. The host even had a mahjong set, so we played for hours out there! It was the kind of slow, easy afternoon you can’t really manufacture.Nights were pure magic: a sky so clear and star-filled it felt like a private show just for us.And the beds? Hands down the most restful sleep I’ve had in years. I actually slept in, which never happens. This is one of those rare properties where every detail feels genuinely cared for because it is. New tradition unlocked!! Looking forward to coming back year after year.
I can only imagine how beautiful this is during summer or fall
