Beautiful home, scenic location, comfortable accommodations, clean, lots of great space for our group to enjoy the weekend. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful family vacation. The hosts were very accommodating and the house was exactly what we needed for our family of 11 people. Would highly recommend the property.
Beautiful house very spacious. Great facilities perfect for a scenic peaceful fun filled break away. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. If we return we would definitely rebook.
A beautiful spot for a Christmas family gathering. Check in and check out process was easy. Home had everything we were looking for and hosts were great! 100% would recommend.
It was a wonderful family vacation. The home provides plenty of room with the large back porch and side screened in porch Our biggest decision each day was should we kayak, swim in the pool or fish off the dock. The property was private and beautiful. Thank you Nikki for the quick communication with our questions. We would love to come back!
The property was clean, quiet and comfortably accommodated a large family. Everyone enjoyed the swimming pool; and the large screened porch was great for morning coffee and nightly conversations. The adjacent pond was not conducive to swimming (weeds/algae blooms) but good for kayaking. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Berkshire hills. Thanks Nikki and Neill.
What a wonderful place! Our annual family vacation of 8 adults, 1teen and three 10 year olds found great things to do all day long- lake, kayaking, swimming in the pool, lawn games, night time camp fires, and watching the stars. The house accommodated all of us with extra space. Loved not having to bring sheets and towels (bah, Jersey shore!) and appreciated the little touches of paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soaps. Will certainly return!
A really great property and layout, especially for multi-family parties. Tons of space inside and out and lots to do in the surrounding area. Communication was fantastic, with renovations being made that will only enhance the outdoor play and dock areas. Highly recommend!

Wonderful vacation in a great house located in a beautiful area
The headline says it all. We had a family vacation - 8 adults and 3 kids (all 4 and under) - that was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The house was perfect for our group, offering plenty of space, privacy when you wanted it, and multiple areas to gather and enjoy ourselves. It has a rustic charm and is well equipped with pretty much everything you need in the house itself along with the pool area and dock. Copake Lake is 10 minutes away where we rented a pontoon boat for a great day on the lake. I could go on and on but suffice it to say that the house, its setting and the surrounding area combine to provide a terrific get away. The hosts are always available yet unobtrusive, and they communicate clearly and in a timely fashion - top notch experience and vacation all the way around.
We can't say enough good things about our stay at Nicole's beautiful house in Copake. It was perfect for our multi-generational family reunion in every way. Tons of activities for all ages, an enormous lawn, beautiful pool, and right on the lake. We kayaked, swam, played games, hung out and relaxed all together. The house accommodated our needs in every way with clean, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, kitchen, dining area for us to share meals together, grill, games, and on and on. We really couldn't have found a better spot - and super convenient from all areas of NY and beyond. Nicole was lovely and kind and always responsive. Thank you for making our stay perfect.
We just returned from a wonderful week at the Copake house. The place was ideal for a family reunion because of all the emeritus that were available. We enjoyed the pond, kayaking, fishing, the fire pit and of course the pool. The house was very clean and ideal for a large gathering with ample room for everyone. The screened porch became the puzzle gathering area and movies at night for the children. We enjoyed the surrounding area and the state park hiking trails. Last but not least, the hosts were welcoming and accessible and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. My grandchildren voted the vacation as “ the best”. We look forward to returning.
Our family had a wonderful time in Copake in Nikki and Neil’s beautiful property. It is great for children of all ages. We used their kayaks to explore the beautiful adjacent pond, swam in the lovely pool, watched kids enjoying the play yard, had smores at the fire pit, and just had a roaring good time. I planned to try out the basketball goal but never got around to it with so many other activities. The property is very well stocked with various toys, sporting equipment, and swimming gear. The house is clean and very well maintained. The porch was such a delight to just sit down, enjoy the lovely view, and relax. The outdoor grill was large and ample for feeding our large group of 12. Copake is a great location. Quiet country but with many adventures nearby. We rented bikes for the rail train a short distance away, paddle boarded on Lake Copake, and ventured into several nearby interesting towns. Hudson NY, with its many fine art galleries, restaurants, and shopping, is about 30 minutes away. Nikki and Neil were very attentive hosts. We strongly recommend this lovely property.

Our group of two families -- 4 adults, a three-year old, one-year old and 2-month old -- had a wonderful week at the Copake House. 2 adults and the small baby stayed in the upstairs wing, and the 2 adults and the two toddlers stayed in the downstairs wing, which allowed for the perfect amount of privacy for a mixed-family/group stay. The living and dining room plus two porches provided great gathering areas and ample seating to enjoy the gorgeous views. We enjoyed the pool with diving board and lawn chairs, huge yard, swing set, lake access and kayaks, and fire pit and smores. The hosts were very responsive to all questions along the way to help with planning and understanding available amenities. While the house and grounds are lovely in themselves, we also ventured out to rent a boat for an afternoon to cruise on Lake Copake with lunch from Copake Lake Boat & Ski snack bar; had a lovely family dinner at The Greens; enjoyed the beach and playground at Lake Taghkanic State Park; explored Great Barrington's cute downtown; and more. Lots of family friendly activities for all ages within a 5 to 30 minute drive. Copake General Store is perfect for sundries, like firewood, ice cream, coffee, prepared meals and more. Thanks to Nikki and Neil for providing our families the opportunity to make some wonderful summer memories.
Welcome to our cherished family home, lovingly built by my parents in 1987. We are thrilled to extend an invitation to you to experience the warmth and comfort of our home, and we sincerely hope that you find as much joy in it and the surrounding area as we have.
